Mathematically Inclined You could say this is the herd that Math built. All of the uni names used here are from a historic Mathematician. (Eventually I will add descriptions about the mathematician whos name I used.) This will be a place to keep stories I write involving my unis, some information about their personalities (if you're curious), and a bit of RP if anyone would like to.

She does know that she wants to stamp all over whatever pair bred her for not having enough forethought of the possible outcomes. A water-bound fire elemental? Whoever heard of such a thing! She tends to avoid the other hypocampi which often has her hanging out near the lakeshore. She also tends to avoid any fire elementals, if she can, fearing that they will ridicule her. For all her bluster, Ajima's quite worried about what others think of her.
Ajima has quite the temper her kind is known for, further stoked by her water-bound state. She's known for sending little puffs of steam into the air, just the reaction of her getting too "hot" while in the water. She doesn't like company and doesn't make friends. Ariel Quote: Ask Ariel where she comes from and she'll spin a wonderful tale about a kingdom under the sea, however the story changes a bit with each telling and many think she either doesn't recall her past prior to coming to the Agency, or that it is too dreadful for her to even talk about. Those who love a good story though will often come back again and again to ask her about this oceanic kingdom.
Ariel has two loves in life - music and adventure. Her closest friend is Grizabella, and she'd love to have an adventure with her. There's just a "water" issue, but they're working on that. To Ariel everyone is a potential friend, and everything is a potential adventure. It's often difficult to get her to focus for a very long time though, and she often takes her adventuring a bit too far. Arzela Quote: Arzela's family and herd were attacked by Darklings and many were slaughtered while many were injured only to die later. Few survived. She's been rather skittish by nature since then and has wandered without a herd. She was rather surprised that any male would pursue her long enough to catch her, but now feels Cantor had no real interest in her as a unicorn but rather is some kind of collector.
She has bonded well with Emmy, they have something akin to a mother-daughter relationship. They produced Emil who quickly proved to be such a mix of their personalities that she was neither like Azure enough for her to relate to, nor enough like Emmy for her to completely trust. She misses her family greatly and so far has not told any of the others in the herd about her loss.

When he found lands suitable to his needs which were clear of inhabitance, he claimed them for his own and began the task of building a new herd for himself. A gathering of wild unis of the common elements drew his attention and he chose two from that gathering: Emmy and Tsuji. He continues to seek unis to add to his herd, feeling strength of numbers is his current priority.

Whenever Dini cannot find what she calls "intelligent discourse" then she finds a nice shady tree and likes to give out advise to any who come her way. Even though she has an air of arrogance around her she seems very nice and understanding when people bring her their problems. In fact, she feels even more arrogant knowing she can pretend to be nice to those "less" than herself.
No one stands out enough to Dini to be her "friend" though she does consider many unis to be her acquaintances. One thing she believes in though it one mare, one stallion and often uses her precognitive abilities to try and see if a male she meets would be a good lifelong mate. She's so far been unsuccessful in finding mister right.

Emil is quick thinking like Emmy, but is also quick to act. She can be cautios like Arzela, but usually only about what she says around Cantor. She feels Arzela is weak and often says she ashamed to be her daughter. Despite her age, she still acts like a rebelious teenager. Emmy Quote: Emmy was born into a large and loose herd, hardly a herd at all and more like a large wild group. She has drifted from wild gathering to gathering in search of purpose. She was unsure why Cantor chose her, but senced perpose in his eyes and was not afraid to go with him. She knows that he enjoys her company and finds her to be a soothing presence, so she tries to not make waves whenever he frustrates her.
As Emmy watched the herd grow, she is worried. There is tension from Tsuji that could spread. Other unis might bring more tension with them as well. But she feels Cantor does not listen to her when she voices these worries. She has decided to go against him and parent a foal with Azure... if the Mud uni will help her. Emory Quote: Emory was recently born and in the midst of battle. She's very skittish and often depressed. She doesn't think very much of herself and iwshes her parents wouldn't push her so hard.

Klein had been in the wild and found by Cantor. Up until then she had mostly fended for herself, but he was able to convince her to stay and rely on the herd's larger strength.

When she met Matsunaga, he secretive nature interested her. He spoke as though he had a lot of power and she liked that too. Her best friend is Rose and they can often be found together. When she's not with Rose she's often following Klein around. She sees the ice unicorn's pranks as harmless bids for attention and hasn't given up yet trying to be her friend. Lovelace Quote: Cantor found Lovelace by smell and sometimes follows the unicorn's scent just because he likes the smell of peppermint. Lovelace is kind to all, but also understanding of those who want their space.
Very willing to spread his love around, Lovelace has two children within the herd and others who have gone to other herds. He even treats Katyayana as a daughter even though they found out he wasn't really her father. Lusim Quote: Lusim lacks the serenity of most celestial types, though his is distant toward most unicorns. This distance though seems to come from a lack of trust, where he got this is unknown. He's really only open around Lovelace and Jayadeva.
