helo im kanon kuran well im vampire gurl in real life i am just ordinary azn teenager gurl have a life and luv anime series of code geass some where i feel closer to my ancestors how they created this show and how my people were treated that badly from history recall way back then when people discriminated the japanese way back then it was because of culture and how u looked. im glad that changed now we are equal and have the rights. well i have older brother matt and im youngest sister in my family but i dont give out my real name but i have ways i only tell my real name if one of u are really my close friend i really trust and care the most

I'm asian too... just live in the States... xd Yeah, Code Geass does reflect ethical inequality, not just against the japanese(which due to the location the show's set in, it show that over the rest). That's understandable. Glad to have you aboard with us.

Hey everyone. Reimi Burtoey here. I live in the New Jersey/New York area
I have studied Code Geass for a while now and I think it is one of the best mecha anime not named gundam. there is quite a deep story. but yeah it does represent ehtical inequality. of course as the series goes on, it gets kind of jumbled as you have a hard time telling heroes from villains.
and in case everyone has not seen the whole series, i will not tell you who the actual villain is
As for the characters, well I guess you could say I am Cornelia obsessed xd biggrin

I agree on it's greatness but I don't think gundam is all that great, particularly certain gundam series.
Of course, as no one wants to be seen as the bad guy, this series is just plain great on the portrayal. Personal opinion becomes the new front for who are the heroes and who are the bad guys.
The most ironic joke is that alot of death note fans like to say Code Geass is imitation of it, when the main character's reason, actions, and power are all different. Not to mention the fact that one relies on the supernatural overly much while the other uses numerous factors including the supernatural.

Hey, Hyuga here. (and no, not a Naruto HYUUGA. Its an actual, valid name in Japan. Its just kinda more traditional.)
Love Code Geass. Love the Code Geass Girls. And I'd love to play a game of chess with Lelouch anyday.
One of the things in mind about CodeGeass as I joined this guild:

Lol nice one. Yeah, I noticed it, and the capital's on the east coast too!. It's not just where the USA is supposed to be, it includes Canada and the rest of the Americas. Well... surprised that Britannia doesn't control the British Isles?

Code Geass.. well, the impression about the anime.. it's good. The design of the mecha is still far from a famous mecha series which I'm sure you know what, but the story? It totally beat the famous mecha series!

Ellos everyone! As the word and numbers above my head state... I'm drac (as in short for draco.... Latin for dragon?) Major anime enthusiast stuck in the US.... Code Geass is way up there on my favorite list, and I mean way up there... like top 10.... which If I stop to think about... are actually just 10 number one manga.... anyways... Pleasure to be here! ^^

you're right, I'm talking about gundam, the one that started it's originality for new series and return to the classic one (haro, zaku, etc.)..
well, that's my opinion anyway..^^

Two main categories of mecha.... And different pair of series that can be considered the "founding series" of that type. Real Robot= Gundam and Macross. Super Robot = Mazinger Z and Tetsujin 28-go (Gigantor)
