New types of pokemon are always appearing in the strangest of places, and when this happens, unfortunately, there is usualy someone who will try to take advantage of this.
Professor Gum sighed as he put down the reasearch he had been doing aside, then picked up the newspaper that he had placed on his desk earlier that day. The title of the newspaper capturing his attention yet again with a heavy heart. Front Page Rare Pokemon stolen from Pokemon Center! The whole town is in an uproar today as theives last night made away with half a dozen rare pokemon species. It is believed that they snuck in via a ventelation shaft, pocked the pokemon while they were in their pokeballs, and then exited. The only reason they were discovered was a rogue Chancey who was checking up on a sick sandshrew. "We will do everything we can in order to recover the stolen pokemon" Officer Jenny announced to the press. "The theives will not get away with this" It is unknown at this time wheather the theives belong to the notorius Team Rocket Gang

"Isn't this just horrible?!" A shrill voice came from the hallway, and Jade emerged holding a newspaper. It was the day after the event had occured, and by now almost everyone had heard about it. "All those poor pokemon! I hope they find whoever did this soon..." "If I had a pokemon, I could use it to go after them crooks!" Timmy had been excited every since the day he went into the forest with everyone else to catch pokemon. He was anxious to find a pokemon for himself. But this proved very hard indeed, with a over protective mother and a scardy-cat sister. He sat at the kitchen table, trying to look at the newspaper that Jade held in her hand "Don't worry, I'm sure one day you'll be able to fight off the whole of team rocket with one of the best trainer pokemon in the world". Poke guessed what was on the boys mind and tried to ease his mind by passing him a second copy. One that she had just finished reading. Suddenly, The professor walked out of his study in a rush, holding a phone in one hand, a book in the other, and headed straight for the door outside. He then paused before it. "Poke, Jade, are you ready to get going?" "er, yeah, but where am we going?" poke got up from her seat, while jade looked mildy interested. "Are we going to do some shopping?" "No, we are going to the pokemon center to investigate the area" Jade now looked Very Interested. "But, professor..we aren't even involded in this, why should we bother to go looking around?" The Professor now held up the phone in his hand. "Because I have just been asked by a college of mine to come and lend my assistance. One of the pokemon that was stolen had belonged to him." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alright now, time to explain a few things about this event Right now, this roleplay doesn't have a specific ending in mind. It has definate plot lines and twists, but thats about it. For all we know it could result in Team Rocket taking over the world. But what is certain about this event, is that it will involve rare pokemon. This doesn't mean that people will get a rare pokemon if they participate in this, but there will be rewards for participation, of some sort. I will continue to make posts that will reveal what is happening, in order to keep things moving

Leaving her egg at the safety of her mother's Hatchery, Sadie had traveled to the Pokecenter to get her pokemon attended to. She had also left a few others behind as well, at her side Sassafras troted, her long tails dusting behind her. Sadie had taken time to groom the ninetales, but it seemed all invain as dust collected around her paws that would have to be bathed away later. Setting on her belt, four pokeballs laid silent, within them a charmelon, Butterfree, Dratini and Poochyena. The rest were left behind this time. Five was all she wanted to accompany her, she had no fear that Fallen, Pulse and Tempo would help her mother with things about the house and try and keep out of trouble.
"Here's your pokemon back, Miss" Replied the nurse snapping out of her thoughts of her choices to bring who she brought.
"Thanks." Sadie smiled putting the four balls back to her sides and turned to nod to Sassy that they were going to leave soon.
Looking around Sadie glanced about the action around the pokemon center, it was busy, but not with the comings and goings with the other trainers. Ther were people investigating something, her mother didn't get the paper and the news didn't dawn on her too easily. Well, maybe it was that she just ignored it, it didn't have to do with her, so Sadie shruged. Sassy whined and looked up at her as Sadie petted her head.
"I know, something isn't right here..." Sadie said softy to the ninetales as they headed toward the door, blood red eyes watching the officers milling around asking questions and the like.

Once the group had reached the pokemon center, it was obvious that there was something afoot.
There were officers everywhere, and growleithe were about, trying to detect a scent that they could use in order to track the theives down. A few of the nurses where even giving statements to the police. It was also slightly humours to see a police trying to take a statement from a chancey.
"Chancey Chance! Ch chance!" it waved it's hands around, jumping from one foot to another. The policeman scratched his head in confusion. "Umm...alright... 'chancey...chance.." He scribbled it down.
"Excuse me sir, but I believe the chancey was saying that the theives had escaped from the ventiliation shaft, right over there"
The police almost dropped his notebook. "You you understand what it's saying??"
Professor Gum nodded. " When you spend alot of time around pokemon, you begin to understand what they are trying to say, just as easily as you were talking to another person.
"I see...."
Poke was quick to notice one of the trainers from the other day was also here with a few of her pokemon, so she made her way towards her. "Have you heard what's happened?" poke asked.

Sadie just about jumped when Poke came over and the Professor went to speak to the officers. Stopping and stuffing her gloved hands into her pockets, Sadie shook her head. She hadn't really heard much about what happened, but from what was about the center, it was big. Sassy growled at Poke, at first, before easing and sat at Sadie's side, red eyes watched around them, tails coiling close to her back and sides... So no one would be stepping upon them of course.
"Not to the full extent, I only heard that something big had happened." Sadie shrugged leaning off to one side a little to look around again. "But from what I heard the professor say in translation to the Chansey there, something much bigger has happened. And so close to home as well." She frowned somewhat fearing for the hatchery, but knew that there wouldn't be much danger to it as her mother didn't deal with rare breeds all the time. Mostly common ones or ones that people leave to be looked after.
"Do they know what was taken? Or is that undercover?" she asked Poke not really moving from where she stood near the door. If you guys need any help, I'd be happy to lend a hand. Sassy here is looking to see some more action." She petted the Ninetails on the head whom looked up, tails waging a little. Also I have a new pokemon that might be able to get into the smaller places that might be hard for others to get through."
Pulling one of the pokeballs from her belt, she clicked it to become bigger and released a young Dratini. Her pink scaled coat giving off a gleam as she looked up at the humans about her. Lyla yawned a little and stretched herself out the best she could before coiling up as to not take that much room. Beady little eyes looked from Poke to her trainer and back to Poke again. It seemed that the dratini wondered what was going on and why she was away from the river...

((Well for now...It wont be known for sure if it is part of team rocket. But for now, it would be best for you to not jump out in the middle of the center in full uniform trying to steal the nearest pokemon 3nodding Team rocket will defantely play a part in this))
"Well, I don't think anyone knows which pokemon were taken, except the pokemon owners themselves. They're trying to keep it as quiet as possible so they don't cause an uproar...however thats gonna be hard, since the press has already released a huge story about it."
Looking over at the Sadies pokemon, she was intruiged to see that somehow, not only had she evolved her vulpix, but had aquired a dratini. A shiny dratini to boot.
"Wow, I don't believe I've seen a shiny dratini before.." poke reached out carefuly, wanting to pet the dratini but not invite it to snack of her hand. "But yeah, it would be great if you could lend a hand. Apparently we're being roped into this invesigation as well, if not doing some guard duty. Apprently theres been rumours that the theives will come back again"

Lyla's head turned toward Poke as she reached to pet her, leaning away a little she eyed to human's head before looking back to her owner. Wondering just who this stranger was and why it was wanting to touch her. It seemed that many wanted to touch her just because of her scale color and that she looked all cute and cuddly. Puffing out a little, Lyla rose up a bit past Poke's head to stare into her eyes more carefully, as if trying to look into Poke's soul as it were.
"She's a rare one to be sure of. I found her east of here, alone. Though I've heard that some Dragonair keep together when they have a bunch of Dratini to look after." Sadie explained stuffing her hands back into her pockets. "I wonder if she either wandered away and they left without knowing. Or they drove her away because of her strange coloring." Shrugging a little, Sadie looked around again before recalling Lyla back into her pokeball and placing it back to her belt. Not wanting the youth to get herself into trouble already. "I will gladly help. With thieves around, Mother worries about the Hatchery. I tell her that it will be fine, not like anyone would be that foolish..." 'Then again, some are.' she thought to herself after wards.
Sassy looked over toward the Professor before standing and padding over to place herself beside him and looking up at the officers. Red eyes studied the officer before she looked to the Professor, a questioning look on her face. Unlike most canine breeds, she wasn't one to stick her nose to the ground and sniff around, no, she would rather look for other clues... Ones that didn't make her sniff something that smelt.... Foul.

Lina stared out of the window listlessly as the boat docked. She turned back to stare at the room she had stayed in for the journey. Everything was packed up -someone from the neighbouring room had helped her- and she was set to get off of the ship once the boat itself was ready.
Normally, the small girl would be excited for such a trip, for even though she has already come to this island before, it would still be a fresh and new experience for her.
But not this time.
Lina went over to her bed, careful not to disturb her left arm in its splint and sling. A Butterfree was stretched out on it, both wings laid out flat on the bed. It was sleeping, but jerking a lot, letting out a weak 'fwee' every once in a while. Its entire top half of its right wing looked singed, with a fairly large part missing.
"Lina, are you ready?" Someone had opened the door and poked her head in. It was the Nurse Joy who had agreed to accompany Lina on the journey, for she also had some business to do on the island.
"Yes Nurse." Lina responded, heading towards the suitcase that held her belongings. The Nurse Joy entered the room with a Chansey, and the two worked on getting the injured Butterfree on a stretcher.
Lina expressed her thanks to the Nurse as they left the room, and she was left figuring out how to move her stuff with only one arm.
She was here for her Butterfree, for Frill. She, her brother, and their Pokemon had all been recently caught in a fire on Route 212. A lot had happened, but Frill the Butterfree had been injured badly during the fire. The Pokemon centre at Forttree did not have the facilities necessary to treat and restore Frill's wing, and they suggested that she came to the Pokemon Centre on this Island.
Lina managed to drag one suitcase out into the hall when she bumped into her neighbour again.
"Need some help?" The woman asked. She didn't wait for a reply though, and simply went into the room to grab Lina's other bag for her.
Lina liked the woman. Her name was Mierlyn Akair, Mier for short. Apparently she was a Contest Judge from Lilycove. She was visiting the island to retrieve a Pokemon egg someone had donated to the Contest Hall.
"Rojn'Az. Stop goofing off and follow." Mier snapped at the Plusle and Minum siblings who were chasing each other down the hall. Mier had always slurred Rojo and Azul's names together, and it had quickly become habit.
Rojo and Azul ignored Mierlyn, of course, and continued playing a game of tag between the legs of the people now streaming into the hall. Mierlyn muttered to herself, cursing the day she ever decided to catch those little ungrateful brats, picked up her own bag, and proceeded down the hall beside Lina.
About half an hour later, all of Lina's belongings were safely tucked into one of the Pokemon centre's ambulances, along with Frill which a new Nurse was already taking a look at.
"Would you mind taking me along?" Mierlyn suddenly asked. "I'm afraid I don't know this area well, so it will be nice to stop by a Pokemon centre first."
The Nurse checked the room they still had in the vehicle and nodded to her.
"Sure, feel free to take a ride."
Mierlyn thanked the nurse, climbed onto the ambulance, pulled her suitcase up, and snapped at Rojo and Azul until they finally agreed to get on as well.
"The Nurses seem kind of worried don't they?" Lina murmured to Mier as the woman found a comfortable seat on the ground, both of them staring at the stretcher-bed where Frill the Butterfree laid in a medically-induced sleep.
Lia was concerned that the Nurse's worries stemmed from perhaps their doubt in their abilities to help Frill.
"It's alright, they'll be able to make Butterfree as good as new. They're just a bit jumpy because of the recent stealing of several rare Pokemon at the Pokemon centre." Mierlyn explained. "The captain told me this morning."
This didn't seem to help settle Lina's mind at all though, because it stemmed a new worry. Butterfree as not a rare Pokemon, so Lina was not as nervous about Frill, but her Vulpix...
Lina stared down at the Pokeball on her belt, suddenly feeling very, very protective.

as poke and the dratini began some sort of "staring match", Jade suddenly popped into view besides poke, draggong a very reluntant Amy alongside her. Jade's eyes were almost bulging out of her skull at the sight of such a rare pokemon. "Ho my...I can't believe it! Never in all my wildest dream would I have the pleasure of seeing if not holding a shiny dratini! It's just so wonderful I-" As soon as she made to pick up the pokemon, not even pausing to ask sadie if she could, a sharp tug on her clothes. "For crying out loud, would you PLEASE stop doing that!!" poke all but shouted those words, and now she began a death glare match with the overbearing Jade. "errrmmm" Amy backed away from the two, looking very scared. She would of kept going, hadn't something behind her stopped her movements. She paused to look around to see what it was, and was greeted with a very friendly; "Larv!"  "t-t-timmy! Unclee!" she squeaked. "ah, I'm sorry Amy, did larvitair scare you?" A friendly voice came from nearby. A man who looked like he was in his late 30's, with black hair tied back in a pony tail and a pair of glasses, straightened them and then picked up the small pokemon. "H'es very friendly, so you have nothing to worry about" "but...Mommy said that Larvitairs can screech very loudly..." she mumbled, and then ran back to poke and jade who seemed to have calmed down once the new stranger had appeared. "Oh! there you are Adam, I was wondering where you would be" Gum was finnaly able to get away from the policeman and now shook his old colledge's hand. "Everyone, this is My friend, Professor Adam"

Lyla, having escaped her pokeball.... Looked toward the new face that was suddenly reaching out for her. Rearing back she slipped away from Jade, ear fins falling a little she tilted her head watching the humans and slipping back away and around her trainer's feet. She didn't seem to like all the attention and wished that she had stayed in her pokeball after all. Shaking her head, Lyla looked over toward Amy and slithered over toward her. Soon looking at the Larvitar that appeared with another strange human. Rising up to meet to pokemon's eye level she pulled her tail in. "Dra?" she whispered her own greeting, ear fins unfolding once more bright little eyes almost seeming to smile.
Sadie glared at the woman that had reached for her pokemon, Sassy had returned with all haste when Jade shouted and growled at the woman. It seemed that this one had some problems, tails fanning out behind her, small glimpses of flames sparked about her lips. It seemed the ninetales was ready to defend those of her trainer's team.
"Do you have 'any' manners?" Sadie asked Jade crossing her arms. "Had Lyla been any other pokemon, you wouldn't be standing where you are or worse."
There was a growl in Sadie's throat as she spoke. Reaching out with a gloved hand she patted Sassy on the head to calm the pokemon, though her fur still stood on end, red eyes watching Jade closely. Both pokemon and trainer walked away from Poke and the other when another man and strange little pokemon entered the center. It seemed that people were coming together and she didn't want to be left out of what was happening. Though her growl still present in her throat, her own feline like ears flattening back some.

The pokemon center door slid open as Dexed walked through them. He had a green wakabo hairdo with green eyes under his thick, round glasses. He wore a green shirt and white pants, and he held his hands in his pockets, walking in a timid fashion. In plain, he looked like a dork. Nonetheless, he sported 4 pokeballs in his belt so he was no rookie.
He looked around and spotted Sadie, Poke, the Professor, and Jade. They seemed to know what was going on, so he walked over to where they were.
"Do you guys know what is going on?" asked Dexed to them, hoping one of them would answer.
For a second, his eyes seemed to take on a cynical expression, but it went as fast as it came.

Lina watched nervously as a nurse and Chansey took Frill into the Pokemon centre from the back of the building. She wanted to follow them, how badly she wanted to go in and help frill recover!
But there wasn't much she could do, and the nurses advised against her being present for the examination and the probable operation. Lina fiddled around nervously as the Nurses disappeared into the building, not sure what she should do. Finally, she turned around to head toward the front of the Pokemon Centre. She was to stay at the centre until Frill was ready to leave, so it was best to find the room they cleared for her and get everything organized.
Rojo and Azul seemed oblivious to her distress and with their usual enthusiasm, pushed, shoved, and laughed with each other around Lina's feet.
"Rojn'Az! Calm down and behave yourselves." Mierlyn scolded almost off-handedly. Used to a very disciplined team she had grown very close with, she still wasn't sure how to deal with the rebellious siblings.
Lina decided now to let her Vulpix out. Pixie was soon walking by her heels, growling, hissing, and scratching if Mier's two pokemon came close. The two soon made a game of darting in, shocking Pixie, and running just out of range as the frustrated Vulpix turned to attack them.
"I'm sorry Lina, sorry Vulpix, I don't know what to do with them." Mier apologized for the umpteenth time, Lina now carrying Pixie in her arms to stop the electric twins from tormenting her any farther. Lina nodded, still trying to find a comfortable position in which to hold Pixie - the cast on her left arm as well as the sling was not cooperating. It didn't help that Pixie was livid, hissing, spitting, and very badly wanting to jump down and tear Rojo and Azul apart.
Lina and Mier stopped when they saw a group of people gathered in front of the Pokemon centre, as well as a few police officers and Pokemon Centre Staff. It took a moment for Lina to notice why some of the people were so familiar (although she could only recall Professor Gum's name), remembering her last trip here a month ago.
"Things seem lively here doesn't it?" Mierlyn commented, looking around with interest. It seems like the stories about rare Pokemon going missing was more serious than she had originally thought.
"Plus!" "Minum!"
Before Mierlyn could really stop them, Rojo and Azul raced forward, weaving between people's legs. They tagged each other with sparks, not particularly caring that they might be shocking the other Pokemon and people.
"Rojn'Az, stop that! Damn it, not again!" Groaned an exasperated Mierlyn, and she ran forward in an attempt to catch the two out-of-control siblings.

It appeared that Sadie's comment had fallen of death ears, as Jade was being to busy being full of herself, and talking to P.Adam about the things he studies, and what he specilised in.
Amy Suddenly squeaked again, and grabbed hold of timmy's hand as he to yelped in surprize. Apparently the plusle and minun that were running around had shocked the two. Timmy was about to run after them, when he saw the beginner trainer from that time, but now her arm was in a sling.
"Hey! you're the girl from before!" He called out and ran over with his sister in tow. "W...What happened to your arm?!?!"
"She's a lost cause..." sighing about Jade, poke turned to see dexed walk over to them. "Theres been a break-in, and a few pokemon have been stolen."
"It was very kind of you to come here at my request" Adam said to Gum. "I have been ever so worried about my poor pokemon, and I have heard rumours that the theives were to strike again tonight."
"Tonight?!" Gum repeated in shock. "But...why would they attack again so early??"
"I don't know... But I was hoping that you and your friends could stay here the night, to keep an eye on things."
"Ohh! of course we would be glad to stay here and guard these beuitful pokemon!" Jade said, taking the professors hand (with him looking a little shocked in the process). "And, with me here, your pokemon will be as safe as houses!" she began to gloat, and poke just looked the other way with a griminace on her face.
