Karakura Town is a town or city in Western Tokyo, where the story of Bleach begins, it is also the home town of the main character, Ichigo Kurosaki. It seems to be a small city with an average population. It resembles the real world on the surface, and the everyday humans in Bleach are unaware of the ghosts and spiritual forces with which the plot concerns itself.
