I can't remember where I found this, my apologies. I was just flipping through my book of magical/occult research and found it. I thought it was interesting so I decided to share.

According to an old Greek tradition, you can get clues about your future from bird feathers that you find, depending on the type of bird the feather came from, the color and where it was found.

Feather Colors & Meanings

Blue love is on the horizon

Blue, White & Black a new relationship blossoms

Black bad news

Black & White You will avoid a problem

Brown improved or continued good health

Brown & White look forward to a joyful occurrence

Grey battles or struggles ending, peace

Grey & White wish fulfillment

Green & Black affluence and renown

Green/Purple be prepared for adventure/travel

Orange forthcoming happiness

Red good luck

Yellow be careful- friends may be false

I came across that in one of my books, Judika Illes' The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells, but I can't check it because my friend has it at the moment. D:

Also, there's a typo you may want to correct. smile

It's an awesome book. It covers spellcraft and rituals from most history and modern day. <3

I have her Elements of Witchcraft book and I really like it; I picked it up at a used book store actually, hence why I haven't gotten the spell one yet
Too much money

:p They are pricey at £20 a book. I have them all so far, and they're all amazing. <3 I managed to pick up the original Book of Birthdays for £7(should have been £25) because it was an ex display copy. biggrin

Nice
Most of my books are from a bookstore that sells things at AT LEAST half the price marked... most of them are brand new too

Waterstones and Boarders are the only shops "locally" that sell them, and they're always full price. D;
