Who likes Eurovision? After seeing most of 2009's contestants on youtube, i have formulated a list ;3 (Switzerland) Lovebugs - The Highest Heights (France) Patricia Kaas - Et s'il fallait le faire (Denmark) Brinck - Believe Again (Germany) Alex & Oscar - Miss Kiss Kiss Bang I'm so sad, because the UK picked..the crappiest song there this year >.< Czeck picked a cute one, Aven Romale i believe, but i dont think his style will be very popular x3 Eurovision: Love it or hate it? Who are you rooting for? :0

Hate it:
Knorkator didn't win with "Ick wer' zu'n Schwein" (I become a pig) years ago.
I like them, they unfortunately disbanded, but they have been an enrichment to the german music culture...

I like Malena Ernman, but....why is it in French and English but not Swedish? Thats the only thing i dont get. Other than that, Sweden picked a good one this year, you should feel proud. Have you seen who the UK picked? Bahaha XD

I don't know about other countries, but the Israeli song for this year is really excellent. The problem with this contest, however, is that it's looking for popular music rather than cultural or anything like that, so I never supposed the songs there to be actually good.

Some of the songs became worse that way. So why they do it, I will never understand. At least Malena Ernman sang English and french from the begining, so we can't complaine that way. No I haven't... But I think I will go and check now.

I can't understand why you think so; La Voix was one of the greatest performances; Malena was fantastic. Her only disadvantage was perhaps her level, which was too high and mature in aspects of a song contest. Douze points d'Israël. :ּ)

To be honest, no one around here liked the Swedish song. Infact we knew from the begining that we would end up in the bottom of the list. That's why me and my friends often ends up cheering on other countries songs.
Then again... I have never been a fan of any of the swedish songs we have sent the passed years.

I would say the same about the Israeli songs (though the song we sent this year was quite good; however, the singers looked scary during the competition itself, so perhaps that's why we've got the 16th place xd ). I will never forget the contest of 2007, with such manifestations as Verka Serduchka, that reminded us that the world is not a safe place.
