I am aware that Lovecraft is described as Horror or Weird Fiction, but a lot of of his later works (lovecraft/cthulhu mythos) fall into Fantasy and Sci-Fi. The only one that doesn't fall into these is his fictional grimoire "Necronomicon". What's your favourite Lovecraft short story? poem? whatever else? also, here's a cool video of Eben Brooks' cover of "Hey There Delilah", "Hey There Cthulhu" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut82TDjciSg

I would like to compare my favourite two godlike beings, Yog-Sothoth and Cthulu, to the Omnomnom monsters from the 11th plane of hell.

He was a very bright man. I like how current horror others give him credit as inspiration, and hoe King has made a reference to Yog-Sothoth

I love Lovecraft. I have his complete works. I especially love how he used information from the original, real Necronomicon in his writings....i'm drawing my own history.
