This is probably a really stupid question, but I was wondering how I put eyelashes on dolls?
I don't wear makeup in real life, so I've got no idea how to do it. I tried it sticking them on the doll once, but the eyelashes just ended up curling into where the eye was supposed to be.
Would it also be a good idea to put dark coloured eyelashes on a light skinned/haired/eyed doll? Or should I get eyelashes of a lighter colour?
Help and/or answers would be greatly appreciated. heart

Generally when I put eyelashes on a doll I match them to the eyelashes that are painted on the bottom.
To make sure that they stay in place I use WHITE CRAFT GLUE to glue the base of the lashes to the INSIDE of the upper eyelid, curving upward.

Thanks for the tip. 3nodding I'm a little scared of messing up, so I haven't tried it yet.
Still gotta get a brush thin enough to paint on the bottom eyelashes.

awesome. Generally I find the brush doesn't neccesarily have to be thin thin thin if you thin the paint enough and are delicate.

I need to put eyelashes back on 3 of my dolls. Would those fake human eyelashes work if I cut them the right size? I also heard you can tape them in... but wouldn't the putty pull the tape off? I think the craft glue is a better idea.
