one of my managers can speak 19 different languages. I couldn't begin to name them all, I kinda stopped listening to him when he was talking.

A lot of middle eastern people can speak a ton of languages; I have no idea how they keep them all straight. I guess it comes with the cultural and political circumstances. Some middle eastern languages, however, are similar...so this may explain the high number.
In Vancouver there's large groups of other-language speakers. Like the Indians/Filipinos in south (metro) Vancouver, the Chinese/Japanese/Korean in Richmond and the Poles/Italians/Russians in Vancouver...French actually isn't very common. The main languages, I suppose, are Chinese and Punjabi, asides from English.
I, myself, can speak English, French and Polish. Some Chinese...but not much. D:
OH and the Aussies and Brits pretty much own the slopes in the winter. (I can speak British and [caucasian] Australian, too! : D )

Yep. we are officially Bilingual- English and French. And you might hear some Irish or Scottish Gaelic in the Cape Breton area. We also spell things the British way: "colour" instead of "color", "doughnut" instead of "donut", and "practise" instead of "practice" Stuff like that. I'm a HUGE literature/spelling/grammar nut... xd
Here's the link, just for the lulz. biggrin British, Canadian, and American spelling

English, French, German, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, Russian, Ukrainian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Swedish, German, Icelandic, Danish, etc.
I can hear all of these in one day if I wanted to.
I myself can only speak English, but I can understand Swedish, a little French, and sort of Spanish (and Norwegian... barely... only because of the Swedish)
