History/Design Features: After over a decade of considerable military service, Thracean quietly left his past behind to become a simple farmer; however, even as a farmer and something of a recluse, Thracean would not abide oppression. A Knight of Orai led an army to conquer the Knight who ruled Thracean's lands. Victorious, the conqueror began to strip the lands with cruelly excessive taxes, enslaving those who could not pay. Thracean resisted, killing the soldiers sent to raze his fields and forming a band of other farmers and common folk. Through Thracean's brilliant and unconventional tactics, the farmers led a successful revolt, eventually ending when Thracean confronted and defeated the Knight in personal combat. Rather than risk the opposition of this now formidable leader, the Priors absolved Thracean and allowed him to lead his band, Thracean's Musketeers, as a private army.
