Weapon Technologies:Sanctus Lux - The majority of Orai weaponry is based on Sanctus Lux technology that uses high energy quantum particles to reverse the polarity of the gravitational field of any matter or disrupt any energy fields that the particles may contact.
Terminus Mundi - Terminus Mundi are weapons that fire destabilizing Quantum Singularities as projectiles. Artificial singularities are formed and treated with a modulated matrix of Sanctus Lux particles. Over a set amount of time, the matrix degrades as Sanctus Lux particles flood the core of the singularity and cause it to explode in a smaller scale Big Bang. Alterations to the Sanctus Lux matrix vary the distance the Terminus Mundi projectile will travel before detonation.
Nigraspherae - Nigraspherae are glassy black orbs 20, 10, or 5 cm in diameter. They have proximity fuses and act as very small Terminus Mundi devices. They are used as bomblets and grenades.
Aesalon Falcata - Aesalon Falcata are a common Orai sidearm typically in the form of a ~20 cm curving rod that can form a blade or fire a projectile using the Corona Aurea shield technology.
Unda Abnuitionis - According to Loop Quantum Gravity, there is an upper limit to the amount of matter-energy occupying a given volume of space. As that limit is approached, gravity reverses itself to become a repelling force. Based on this principle, Unda Abnuitionis technology generates waves of subspace energy analogous to EMP's that are used to overload energized systems and attenuate ambient energy. This is most commonly used to dissipate incoming weaponsfire, but can also overload the power systems of nearby vessels.
Defense Technologies:Corona Aurea - Corona Aurea, the primary defensive technology of the Orai, is a form of exotic particle field that cloaks Orai ships and can even be generated around individual personnel by carrying personal generators. When a particle enters the field, it disrupts the particle matrix of the field. As the barrier particles in the matrix are pushed farther from their standard positions, sheer forces build up between the particles and are released into the foreign particles distorting the matrix. The result is that solid matter entering the field is in effect 'burned off' by the energy imbued from the field. And any energy that enters the field will eventually be canceled by the field's energy. This field appears as a golden aura enveloping the shielded object and has the benefit that two fields in the same phase with the same frequency can merge and separate without interacting, meaning that a smaller craft with a compatible shield to its parent can effortlessly enter that ship's shields.
Contactus Dei - Contactus Dei is the Orai version of Quantum Matrix Shielding and is linked to sensors so as to only activate to prevent harm to the shielded object. Due to the massive energy requirements and the need for dedicated sensors (which require their own energy), only the most important vessels or personnel are given these shields. However, Priors often have Contactus Dei systems incorporated into their staffs.
Energy Technologies:Fulmen Glacialis - Fulmen Glacialis is the Orai equivalent of the Mirai Crystal Energy Well.
Lux Umbrae - Lux Umbrae is an Orai form of Quantum Singularity powerplant.
Contactus Regni - Contactus Regni is the Orai term for MergedSpace technology. They use it in the same way that the Mirai do, for remote power distribution.
Communication Technologies:Subspace Technology - Modern Subspace Communications technology is available to most Orai in a limited capacity, if at all. Few Orai have the knowledge or resources to assemble a Subspace comm and the use of technology is generally discouraged in favor of dependence on the Priors. The one major exception is in the larger chapters of Smiths and the more important Scholars; these places usually have a single Subspace array for communication with colleagues on other (often nearby) planets.
Contactus Regni - As a communications medium, Contactus Regni is used by the Orai Priors, the technology is built into their staffs, and used by Orai ships for computer communications and networking. Only the Priors use Contactus Regni for person-to-person communication.
Sensor Technologies:The Orai possess the same PANSpace sensor technology as the Mirai, through in a far more limited capacity because this technology is not understood by any Orai nor even named by them. Predominately, these sensors are in the staffs of the Orai Priors, who then share relevant sensor information with nearby Orai vessels. The Priors are the only ones with direct contact with sensor information, in all other cases, the sensors are filtered and interpreted by the AI's of Orai vessels before being presented to Orai personnel in visual or audio form. Sensors are fairly uncommon among Orai vessels smaller than Celestia, however, with most vessels depending on sensor information communicated from other vessels.
Drive Technologies:Caminus Vulcani - Caminus Vulcani is the Orai Newtonian drive, based on the expulsion of plasma through Corona Aurea nozzles. Caminus Vulcani propel smaller Orai vessels, such as the Orai Alae Celera.
Montem Citus - Montem Citus is the primary drive technology of the Orai and that which moves the Orai Celestia. It involves the use of subspace fields to manipulate gravity for propulsion. Subspace fields modulate the gravitational force affecting the matter of a vessel to provide the desired locomotion.
