This is a wide, grassy and breezy area where most adventurers gather to train, rest and encamp, have a picnic and the lot. It is a huge field on top of a a cliff that overlooks the Goldenrod Valley. The Whisps that haunt the Whisper Forest are not able to reach this area as it is considered as a sanctuary, somehow. It is a clean and foe-free field as well.

Akio arrived at the elevated plains and sat down and watched the clouds as he waited for his opponent.

Making his way to the Elevated Plains the boy rubbed his eyes a bit as he still kept his hood over his head, as usual. After rubbing his eyes Shikari looked up to see his oppenent, smiling sheepishly. "So, your my opponent?" He said as he blinked a bit before yawning. "Anyway...Sorry I'm late if you are...I just needed my daily nap," He said with a smile as he just looked at him. Shikari acted almost as though he wasn't even going to be fighting with him, but he very well knew he was and that it probably wouldn't be that easy. Well, at least in his mind he was hoping it was due to his lazy like attitude.

Akio sighed and blew a bubble with his gum as he stood up. "I was really kinda hoping I wouldn't have to fight anybody in this stage. I don't suppose there's any chance of you just giving up and going home is there?"

Hearing what he said he just rubbed the back of his head a bit. "Odd. I was hoping the same thing," He said as he looked up at the sky a bit before looking back at him. "But if your not willing to have a fight then you can just turn back and leave," He said as he just gave a smile. Sure, Shikari wasn't too fond of this guy, and as much as he didn't want to deal with him he knew he would have to one way or another. Well, that was unless he really wanted to leave, which Shikari was sort of hoping for.

Akio shook his head and pulled out an extendable fighting baton. "If I turn back now, I'll never get any closer to the Ultimate Spirit. I suppose in this case, violence is the only answer."

He arched an eyebrow. "Is that all you talk about?...The Ultimate Sprit?..." He asked wondering. Apparently, ever since he met him, that was all that came up from his mouth whenever he had the chance. Though, Shikari could pretty much care less for the Ulitimate Spirit. He shrugged a bit. "Oh well. You go for this power of yours, but I'm not gonna let you win that easily," He said as he shoved his hands into his pocket, letting out a smile showing his sharp teeth. Shikari didn't even bother taking stance, but then again he was rather calm when it came to fighting half the time. Apparently, fighting for him was like playing a game.

Akio blew one last bubble before spitting it out. "Whether its easy or not, I'll still win" He prepared himself for his opponent to make a move. Akio never took the the first swing in a fight. It wasn't his style.

Hearing what Akio said he shook his head. "Don't count on it. Besides, you might have just jinxed yourself their either way," He said with a smile as he still stood there, not taking a stance, nor taking his hands out of his pocket. "Ladies first," He said with a smile. Shikari wasn't really getting cocky, but this was all normal. It really wasn't much for Shikari to make the first attack too. He usually got his opponent to attack him as well. Though, if that wouldn't work then they would probably just stand there all day.

"A jinx? I don't believe in such foolish things." Akio's left hand twitched and his telepathy would send all of the tall grass and dirt up in front of Shikari in an attempt to blind him. Using the distraction Akio would use quick speed to position himself in front of his opponent and swing the baton horizontally in an attempt to hit Shikari's jaw. If he hit it hard enough then it would cause Shikari's brain to hit his skull through the whiplash. Otherwise, the blow had enough power behind it to send Shikari off of the cliff they were on.

Seeing the tall grass come towards him he wasn't going to fall for that so he moved to the side right away, but still focused on the fight. Seeing Akio come at him, swinging his baton to his head he swiftly pulled out his sword blocking the baton from hitting him. "Calm down. A fights supposed to be fun anyway," He said with a smile and confidently, before he swung his leg at Akio's legs to trip him while he wasn't looking.

"Fights are fun? Don't be such a sadist." Akio easily lifted up his leg and entrapped Shikari's as it tried to sweep him. All in the same motion Akio released his baton, which due to his telepathy would suspend itself in mid-air and hold against Shikiri's sword. Akio would then attempt to latch onto Shikari with both hands and use his Aikido to throw up over his shoulder and into the ground head first. With Shikari's balance off thrown by the leg lock and with at least one arm preoccupied with the baton, Akio figured this attack to be the swiftest and most promising.
