Never thought I'd be retiring anything as new as a Core 2 Duo just yet.. but I have. It's still in use, but no longer my primary desktop.. it's a 2.33ghz C2D iMac, meaning it's hard to upgrade. Videocard in it was a bit underspecced for my needs, so I've moved on for gaming... with a 2.8ghz C2D wolfdale, 2GB of RAM(Probably be upgrading that within 30 days) and a Radeon HD 3850 1GB DDR2 videocard. It's not amazing, but it is faster and better at gaming.. and the ubuntu 8 series redeemed ubuntu in my eyes, so I'm running 9.04 on it. It's nice, It's a lot faster, and all my games play on it, even the windows only games. I'll miss the 23" widescreen, and the all-in-one of it, but I can't really upgrade it enough and can't afford a new one. You were always my favorite, tsarunev-lord, you made computing satisfying again... You'll never be my number one again, though, quite sadly.
I'm also just recently retiring a P2 XEON, not sure if I should "toss" it or find someone who might just want it. I've retired my old server, and gave it to my uncle for an Internet browsing machine(dual 750mhz P3s and xubuntu are quite nice for that, as it turns out)

I wouldn't toss it (the P2), but then again, I'm a packrat. I have a PC with similar specs running Xubuntu sitting in my closet.
