GN Particles
GN particles are a type of exotic neutrino released as a byproduct of the GN Drive, capable of disrupting conventional radar and wireless communications with the electromagnetic radiation it expels in the process of decay. Unlike standard-flavor particles of the same class, it is responsive to an unspecified machine-producible interactive force, thus exploited by the Djin for a variety of uses as part of an electromagnetic stealth measure; in a physical barrier system, for use in such circumstances as atmospheric reentry; as a propellant for the GN Vernier; and as a coat that improves the cutting ability of physical blades.
GN is also used in Djin medicine. It has properties that advocate cellular regeneration. Also, high concentrations of GN particles can be used to increase the psychic awareness in most sapient species, and all humanoids.
When weaponized, GN glows a bright pink.
Normal GN particles appear in a greenish hue, like specs of light from exhaust ports in the objects they power. However, GN can be altered in two methods: Ultrapurification or psychic contamination.
When GN is ultrapurified, the hue of the particles changes to blue/white. Ultrapurified GN has a cubed power yield compared to that of the green variety. So far, there have only been two successful ultrapurified GN drives ever built- Planet Aurora and the RX-93 v2. Ultrapurified GN retains its blue hue, even when weaponized.
The other method of changing GN is though psychic contamination. When a Meister is piloting his Gundam, his mind is linked to the Mech, and thus the GN Drive. GN reacts heavily to psychic energy, and when a pilot is distressed or gives in to darker feelings and sensations, part of the GN drive is damaged. With the loss of the TD Blanket (explained in GN Drive), the particles are freely corrupted with the Meister's dark energies. They gain a red hue, and may increase the power yield in certain cases. However, there are catches.
Without the TD Blanket, the GN drive loses its ability to generate perpetual energy, and requires charging from an electrical source. Also, the healing properties of GN turn harmful, and even fatal, if one is left exposed too long.
GN poisoning happens when one is exposed to high concentrations of Dark GN, or an object tainted with Dark GN is introduced to the body. the particles travel through one's cells, degrading them, and eventually cause the central nervous system to fail. Signs include body-wide pain, and shakes, bouts of homicidal insanity, and a loss of muscle mass over time. The only known cure for GN poisoning is a greater exposure to true, or ultrapurified GN.
When weaponized, Dark GN is a crimson color, and in higher concentrations, will turn yellow-orange.

It harnesses the photon and positron discharge of the non-evaporative decay of baryonic matter as an energy source. Though its output is within any given period of time finite, the absence of a limit to its functional life translates to an effectively inexhaustible supply of energy. Owing to the unique heatlessness of its activity and the special properties of its byproduct, GN particles. The device operation is virtually invisible to such methods of detection as IRST or conventional radar. GN particles are not used in the process of energy production. It was developed as a power source by The Djin, who guard it with the utmost secrecy -- they would rather destroy the technology than allow it to fall into enemy hands. Affiliation: The Djin, Celestial Being History/Design Features: Sensor Unit: The sensor component is meant for docking with peripheral devices of the GNR series. When docking sequence is activated, the sensor unit would guide both units to effectively combine into a single unit. Stability Control: The stability control is an automatic steering system. When piloting, the stability control(s) can detect a lack or excess energy for certain maneuvers and can compensate the difference in needed power. This feature helps improve movement for the Gundam and aid a Meister in piloting. Flywheel: It's a mechanical device with significant moment of inertia used as a storage device for rotational energy. Flywheels resist changes in their rotational speed, which helps steady the rotation of the shaft when a fluctuating torque is exerted on it by its power source such as a piston-based (reciprocating) engine, or when the load placed on it is intermittent (such as a piston pump). Flywheels can be used to produce very high power pulses as needed for some experiments, where drawing the power from the public network would produce unacceptable spikes. A small motor can accelerate the flywheel between the pulses. Thruster Unit: The thruster unit is the source of the GN powered vehicle's propulsion. GN particles vent out of the thrusters for directional movement. Unlike conventional thrusters, GN Drives don't release heat. It's unclear how the GN particles work with its generator, but solar furnaces has anti-gravity capabilities, allowing the vehicle to move its drive and still have multi-vector movement and direction The TD Blanket module is an energy converter used in the solar furnaces (GN Drives) of the Djin. It's unclear the true nature of the system as it was never clearly defined for its function. While often speculated as a filter for GN particle conversion and generation, there's limited evidence to confirm that specific purpose. Another speculation could be that it's a energy conversion stabilizer component, similar that of a carburetor. Regardless of the system's nature (energy filter, converter, transformer, stabilizer, etc), it's design is crucial to unlimited GN particle generation and its green hue particles. Without a TD Blanket module, a GN Drive can't properly power a mobile unit and worse, potentially have harmful affects on the human condition. GN Generation Furnace: The core component of a GN Drive, raw GN particle energy is produced to supply unlimited energy for the machine. The solar furnace produce only unrefined energies and require the TD Blanket to properly convert the particles to be efficiently utilize to power a machine. GN Condenser: GN Condenser(s) is a energy capacitor(s) that allow a mobile units to reserve and exploit excess GN particles when needed. Although a GN Drive creates unlimited energy, the GN Drive(s) have a limited rate of particle generation. Mobile units that have high particle requirements can't efficiently utilize the full power of their mobile units without risk draining power from various or all systems. To compensate, the condensers are used to help maintain consistent power to systems and can be used to charge a high particle consuming function. Gundams have high energy requirements and have a series of condensers built into the mobile suits to provide the necessary energy it needs in combat situations. Armor Technologies
Armorweave: A strong, flexible armored material used in Djin military clothing. It's tight-knit, molecular bonding keeps physical attacks from causing slash and penetration damage. A natural energy-dissipating material, it keeps its user safe from energy attacks up to a certain extent. It is heat-resistant rated against plasma.
E-Carbon: An allotrope of carbon used in armor plating. It is incredibly strong, and likened to diamond in durability.
Zirconium Plating: Synthetic diamond plating used for transparent surfaces, like windows or viewscreens.
GN Shielding: GN particles arranged in either a spherical or lattice formation used to neutralize or repel any energy attack less than or equal to the generator's output. Physical attacks, however, have an easier time penetrating the field.

Offensive Technologies
GN Beam: a steady stream of weaponized GN particles bombards a target, causing explosive penetration. The extreme heat from the beam tends to melt the surrounding material of whatever it penetrates. GN Beams can also be used in pulse fire, for a purely explosive round.
The same technology is applied to the GN Beam saber. However, the beam is encased in an electromagnetic loop, giving it definite length, and cycling the energy back through the emitter for quasi-perpetual power. GN (and power) is only expelled when the blade makes contact with another object.
GN Blade: Not to be confused with a beam saber, the GN blade is a solid blade saturated in weaponized GN. This gives it superior cutting ability and durability when powered. In higher-end models, merely holding the blade in close proximity with an object is enough to melt through it.
GN Round: Scalable to Bullet, Missile, and Torpedo payloads, the GN round is a solid projectile filled with GN particles fired at quasi-luminal speeds. Once it makes contact with a target, it injects it with weaponized GN, destroying it from the inside. Bullets for infantry, missiles for MS and fightercraft, and torpedoes for starships.

Propulsive Technologies:
GN Engine: A GN field is primarily used for movement, however, additional particles can be expelled through thrusters, verniers, and apogee motors for quick course corrections and boosts of speed. This makes GN Engies Newtonian and Non-Newtonian at the same time.
Impulsive Engine: Fusion rockets powered by simple matter/antimatter reactions are used on most starships. At full impulse, a starship can travel at exactly the speed of light. The reasoning for not using the more economic GN Engine is, at this time, unknown. Rumor has it that it is to conserve power for weapons.
Spatial Fold Generator: Two points in space are temporarily compressed into one, allowing for instantaneous travel to any point in the Universe. The distance between points is relative to the amount of power needed to make the jump, and thus the time needed to charge the Generator, and time before another jump can be made.
Ships with larger, or higher-output GN Drives obviously can make longer and more frequent jumps. But anything with a GN Drive is capable of making a jump relative to the output of that drive.

Miscellaneous Technologies.
Dimensional Transcendence: Simply speaking, dimensional transcendence is the ability to make an object (typically a vessel) "bigger on the inside." The Djin long ago managed to ascertain relative dimension sciences. Through use of a relative dimensional stabilizer, The Djin are able to separate the dimensions of the interior and exterior of an object via subspace. The Stabilizer then maps out a trans-dimensional gateway from the transcendent interior to the exterior access outlet via Quantum Manipulator.
Dimensional transcendence is mostly employed by embassies and prison ships.
Digistruction: Short for Digital de/Construction, is one of the payoffs of refinement in GN technology that gave arise to the micronization and standard issuance of previously exclusive equipment. Miniaturized holographic constructors with several preprogramed weapon and vehicle modes are in the process of field testing, with hopes for widespread deployment soon. These consctructors, called Lightsticks are capable of using converted matter to create solidified holographic projections constituting portable armor and weaponry.
The projections are powered and maintained by the user's personal GN drive, limiting the size and complexity of any one projection. However, several users may unite their projectors and drives to create more powerful projections, like a tank or bomber. When the usefulness of the projection is at an end, the lightstick deconstructs the object, returning the light to energy, stored inside of the Lightstick itself.
Because of the constant need for power and potentially unreliable nature of digistruction, starships have not been created with this process, but it is possible that in the future, the technology will be refined to create such complex projections.
Kinetic Interface Network: Or, KIN for short, is the user interface for most Djin technologies. KIN uses sophisticated body and face monitoring software to read a user's movements, expressions, and intentions with sensors mounted in the walls. It then processes this information as specific commands. It projects holographic displays for with the user to interact. Over all, KIN's unique means of interaction has a noted higher response time and accuracy when compared to standard command interfaces.
Neural Uplink Control: NUC is a user interface used almost exclusively by Gundam Meisters and their machines. The Meister is wired directly to the Gundam's Computer, making the reaction time instantaneous. All data is fed directly into the pilot's mind, overtaking all original senses while linked to the machine. Physical controls and displays still exist as both a backup system and a psychosomatic comfort and aid to the pilots. Some starships have emergency NUC controls for their captains to take direct control of the vessel in the most dire situations.
NUC, while the fastest known user interface, carries a great risk of psychological trauma and strain. A great deal, if not most of a Meister's training is preparing his mind for the rigors and stress that will accompany this method of control. It is theorized that most baseline humans would be burned alive by NUC.
All non-Gundam MS use KIN interfaces within their cockpits, while Light constructs and the Gundam backup controls remain analog.
Trans-Am System: When activated, the system maximizes GN particle generation from the GN Drive. Under normal operation, the GN Drives generate particles at a limited rate, while the drives themselves store excess GN Particles inside the GN Condensers. With Trans-Am, the GN Drives operate at their full power, by releasing all of their stored particles along with high particle generation from the drive.
These released GN Particles would be controlled in high concentrations on the surface of the armor, which renders an external pink-reddish hue on the entire mobile suit. These particles that cover the whole mobile suit improve the mobile suit's defense, firepower, and thrust each about 300%. This boost in performance is only temporary, as once all the released energy and particles dissipate, the GN Drives must replace the spent energy and the unit will perform at a reduced capacity, of about 70%, until the energy is replenished. Trans-Am is a secret feature in all GN Drives.
Celestial Being engineers later learned to develop 3.5 and 4th Generation Gundams to take advantage of Trans-Am, along with its support units. The new improved system have the same properties as the previous system, however the new system is capable of temporary utilization without exhausting all of its particles. The fourth generation Gundam is designed with special functions that require greater GN particles than the GN Drive would normally generate. To compensate for the extreme particle consumption, Trans-Am can be used for a few seconds, long enough to power and execute the function without fully draining the Gundam of its power. This technology is also expanded throughout all their support units that utilize GN particles to function. Doing so not only gives them an advantage in the battlefield, but effectively utilizes their particles without waste.
