So, do you think that lyrics have to rhyme? I personally don't, but that's just me and my strange nature/ What about y'alls?

I don't think lyrics have to rhyme. Some of the best songs I've heard don't rhyme.

I don't think lyrics have to rhyme at all. Oftentimes words just sound good together without rhyming. There are other devices used like alliteration, consonance, etc. that make lyrics sound just as good as rhyming does.
