so, last night i was out at one of my properties... and a resident comes out to the dumpster area with an ALICE pack and a OD green Duffle bag. Well, he says, I'm moving, dont need it anymore...
after some discussion between another officer and i... he desides he wants the alice pack, and i'll take the duffle...
the duffle was full of crap, and after dumping it out.. i find...
two field jackets in woodland camo, dress blues/greens for a marine Sergent, and a KEVLAR PASGT helmet. with two covers in woodland and desert camo.
win.
just one piece of kit that i dont have to buy.

I ******** need an ALICE. My pack takes the frame, but I haven't found one for cheap. I also need to figure out HOW the frame attaches, because it seems like I have to dismantle the pack to do it...
Win on the clothes, though.

... hmm, I figured out how to mount the alice to my frame, I'll have to see about how to show you.
It's probably not correct but you know, it works.
Maybe it is right... I dunno.
Would you be able to figure it out if I take pictures of the final product?

It's not an ALICE pack, it's a recon pack that fits an ALICE frame. That's what makes it tricky.

I wasn't able to find any pictures or help for attaching the alice pack, had to base it off a 1/6 scale model. gonk
