Nya. Baka me is currently reading the novels... Luckily Amazon allows me to get the english translated ones imported and... Well.
Up to now I've read the first three of them, #4 lieing with some unread mangas near my bed. Waiting for some more to get released until I'll go getting the next volumes but... They're great! Slight differences to the manga/anime but I dare to like them...
Up to now favorite sentence: **I was going to kill you, but I got distracted by my soup.** twisted

I've never read the novels, but I've read the manga. Hence why I said manga. And said manga is, as I said, pretty good. =D

I've got up to the current volume, 6.. but Tokyopop doesn't have a release date up for volume 7! I really hope they don't stop releasing the Slayers novels! I've really been enjoying them so far.

I've read "The Silver Beast" and is currently ordering "The Ruby Eye"...thus far it was a really good book. The difference between the Novel and the Anime is finominal!

I love the novels! biggrin . I wish Tokyopop would continue translating them, though. Well, continue as they had been. Waiting for the re-release is annoying. >>;. Then we're going to have to wait for 1-6 AGAIN. And there was nothing wrong with them, either. No bad name spellings. XD. Unlike the English version of the manga... X_X What annoys me the most about their delay is that it's the novel with Gaav in it. It's like they planned to annoy me or something. >>;. Evil, evil Tokyopop.. They could have at least waited until book 8.. ANYWAY.. yeah. Can't wait for 7. XD.

I completly love the novels. I read #6 about 13 times and #1 so far about 10.....I do like the mangas....but the novels had more detail and more of what was going on in Lina's mind as it was being told.
Wait...WHAT!?!?! They stopped translating them?!?! I'm pissed!!! Well, it probably is hard to translate a entire novel.....especilly cause they are very long.....
I really have no problem with the mangas....i love the pics in them, and it still tells the story, but, yeah, I like the novels more. Who couldn't???

A friend of mine is loaning me the novels. I've read the first one & 1/2 of the second. The novel's scene with Nunsa is better than the anime one & the manga one combined in my opinion. xd Hooray for biology!

The novels seem to make everything better than it was in the anime. XD. Or at least funnier. I know they can't do some of the things in the TV series because of time, but it would have made things even better than they are. And about the manga.. it's not the artist/author's fault, but the English one was SO poorly translated. Name wise, anyway. They spelled everyone's names, besides the main cast, wrong. And they even translated 'Sore wa himitsu desu!' wrong. >>; It was sad. T___T. The art was nice, though.
