My local shop didn't have any free stuff, just sales. I bought an Iron Fist trade for 15% off. Won't have time to read it until a few days from now, though, school ends mid-week for me so I have deadlines to meet first. D:

I think mine and wolveys comic shop charge us like 22p for each comic thats meant to be free cause people just take them then throw them on the floor!!!lol

I'm disappointed my shop didn't have anything, I liked the look of the free Avengers book..ah well, to eBay!

The one written specifically for Free Comic Book Day. I guess it's "new reader friendly" so there's a lot of explaining who's who and wtf is going on but the collector in me is convinced I need it. Though, it'll probably be reprinted in one of the future New Avengers trades..

Though, it'll probably be reprinted in one of the future New Avengers trades.. lol ill have to have a look for that next time im at my local though i think we'll not have it or i'll not have 22p! lol

Naw, don't worry about it. I went down to the smallest comic shop I've ever been to near my house, and the guy still had free books. I got what I wanted! 8D

@ Prozac - He's the central figure, yeah. There's a myriad of new and dark avengers in the background around him. @ Guardian Ranger - Yup! Unfortunately I didn't think to post about it until the day of. >: We'll make sure you know for next year! Maybe you'll get lucky like me and find a less traveled shop that still has free books hanging around? They say "not for resell" on the covers so it HAS to still be free if you find any.

I really liked it, yeah. I'm not completely on the up-and-up with the whole Dark Avengers thing (waiting for trades) so it kinda helped in that respect. Confused about Ms. Marvel flying around with Thor, though, last I heard she was supposedly dead?
