The system, as ripped from NativeForeigner and modified by Venom3001
Each player will have his or her own little three-line description of their health.
Color Codes (More may be added accordingly)
Health will be shown by the color of your name.
Violet - Power boosted somehow; essentially, anything better than Blue.
Blue - Perfect Health
Green - Good/normal health.
Yellow - Okay health/condition.
Orange - Poor health/condition.
Red - Critical.
Gray - Unconscious
Uncolored - Dead. Poor b*****d
Injuries will appear with the injury type in the associated color.
Violet - A power boost is making your injuries irrelevant. Typically appears with the name of whatever effect is
Blue - Uninjured
Green - Essentially uninjured. Any injuries have no effect on performance.
Yellow - Minor performance impairment.
Orange - Moderate performance impairment.
Red - Crippling injury.
Gray - Incapacitating Injury
Uncolored - Deadly injury.
Buffs/Debuffs Dark red – Bleeding Out. There will be a countdown for lowering a health level and for the blood coagulating. If the bleeding is bad, the blood coagulation countdown should be artificially shortened or the health drop countdown should be artificially lengthened through first aid.
Red - On fire. There will be a countdown for lowering a health level. Fire has very short countdowns and not only will it not go out naturally, it will spread to nearby things.
Olive - Internal Bleeding. There will be a countdown for lowering a health level. Internal bleeding is associated with the injury that causes it.
Dark green – Poisoned. There will be a countdown for lowering a health level. Poison will not go away on its own.
Brown – Infection, prevents health level from going up on its own. Also, an infection will prevent a wound from healing properly. Obviously doesn't mean your Virus.
neutral Purple – Disease/sickness, counter sometimes added.
Pink – Any form of healing-over-time effect
Light blue – Any protective buffs
Countdown:When a countdown is added, it displays the number of posts
you have to stop the bleeding or other ailment before you pass out and ultimately die. The counter will look like this, [XX] X being the number of posts you have left. In some cases, each time the counter reaches 0, your status will go down by one level until you ultimately die.
A counter may be added next to your listed ailment (such as poisoning), this counter tells how many posts before the ailment fixes itself, such as flushing itself from your system.
If you sustain a physical injury, depending on the state and nature of the injury, one of two counters will be added next to it. The first counts down the number of posts before the injury moves on to it's next stage of healing (such as being able to move a sprained wrist), this will only be added once the injury has been treated or automatically if the injury doesn't necessarily need treatment. The number will be based off of a number of factors, the obvious one being the severity of the injury. You get three guesses at who determines that. The second possibility is the number of turns until a condition degenerates - say, a
sprain becoming a more painful and impairing
sprain.
If you're unconscious, the counter will count down when anyone in the thread makes a post, seeing as you won't have much content to actually post.
