The blog is set in Geneva, Switzerland, near the European HQ of the Superhuman Research centre. Bella, Cassie, and Lena are the presets and Christopher Blake's sisters (Bethan's soon-to-be sisters-in-law). However, Okinawa is the centre of all activity to do with 'gifted' people, so people can pop in and out, and some might stay.

After quietly discovering her powers over a few years of living on a fishing boat, she moved to France when she was 14. Cassandra ran up to her in the mall one day and hugged her. Later, she said that she'd seen it in a dream.
