This isn't about Tsubasa, but has to do with CLAMP. Has anyone read the manga X/1999? I've heard such great things about it. It sounds really good. But then again, people have also complained about it not having an ending, and how they want to know what happens. Is it worth reading, even if CLAMP will never finish it? confused

Anything by CLAMP is awesome. But yes, this manga does not have an ending. So if you want to read it and just keeping hoping and waiting for the beautiful ladies to finish it, then go ahead.
Although, Subaru and Seishiro are in here so you might also want to read Tokyo Babylon. And CLAMP School Detectives as well. But you don't have to.
What I did was read their early work to their current work. But that was just me. It made more sense to me that way. I'll shut up now.

It's worth it in my opinion. I actually like it more than Tsubasa to tell the truth. But that is just me.

Since we are off topic here, has anyone read Clover? That and probably 3 others by CLAMP are ones that I have not read. This series is hard to get. But, Dark Hose will be realising all four volumes in the giant book format some time this month. At least that is what the website says.
I better re-read it again. When I first got into anime, back in the day on Toonami and not knowing what it was, I only knew Subaru and Seishiro from Tokyo Babylon. We, my siblings and I, made a connection that TB and X were connected. When we finally saw TB and then later the movie X, we were so pissed and sad because, well, you KNOW what happens in the first like 10 minutes. They both DIE!!! It was not fair!!! It still hurts even now. In the manga, it just gets worse and worse for the characters.

He isn't capable of anything good happening to him.

I really don't like Magic Knight Rayearth. I think the characters are just annoying.

Read it! I have yet to read it, but hey, nearly anything by CLAMP is simply amazing (Chobits, to me, is the one that I say about. But, I have to try reading it first. ^^ ).
Oh, and Clover is amazing so far. And I don't know if it's just me, but I'm seeing a lot of yaoi and shounen-ai implying and I'm sure not very many people can ignore "My little gay prince" so easily. Or maybe it's just the Tokyopop translation (it just doens't seem like CLAMP, y'know?).

Now that I know more about CLAMP, I'm finding out that yeah, they do imply a lot of stuff. I mean my first time reading Legal Drug, I didn't know it was suppose to be shounen-ai. I just thought "Oh!! They're nice friends." HA.
I also re-read Tokyo Babylon. How could I have missed SeishiroXSubaru. Once again I just thought they were good friends. Even in X, I just thought that Subaru wanted to get his friend back and get revenge for his sister.

What did you think when Seishiro kept asking Subaru if he thought he was sexy or when he talked about the bet?

FurryFireFox Lol, a little dense, are we? *bows head* Yes. I mean KuroFay did not ring a bell at all at first. I just wanted them to be friends and protect the other two and Mokona. At the arm grab scene I just thought it would be fun to put them together. HEH HEH. Then I went on the net and found "canon", "Fay becomes a vampire", Chapters 167 and 168", "Kurogane being the only one Fay can drink from", and "when Mokona cries nothing is right." And of course fanart of the pairing.
