This is an RP of Jaldat trying to help Evea get over her fear of flying.

The players:

The setting:
Its a large clearing, about the size of a football field, in the forest two miles or so from the shop. On either side of the clearing there are several square platforms at differing height. They range from about 3 feet off the ground, the shortest, to about 20 feet, the tallest. Each platform has a twin on the opposite side of the field.

Jaldat holds back a low lying branch so Evea can enter the clearing. "Well here we are. I have been working on this project off and on since we met!" He smiles sheepishly. "Lets just say I have a lot of free time on my hand!"

Evea looked around the clearing and was amazed he was able to put this together just to teach her to fly. She turned to Jaldat "What are the platforms for?" She turned back to the clearing to take it all in. She was actually going to learn to fly, even with her fear of heights.

He smiles at her then points at the taller platforms. "First off do not worry about them we arent going anywhere near them for quite some time. My idea is to try to get you to glide back and forth across the field off of the shortest ones. By doing this you can get used to flying and not have to deal with the fear of being to high up. So what do you think? Remember there is no rush." He places his paw next to hers so that they are touching.

Evea looked at the tallest platforms and got scared. She was going to be going up there eventually? She gulped. Even the smallest ones were a little ways off the ground. She hoped he would teach her the basics before she attempted to glide across the field like he wanted her to do.

"Before we do anything I want you to stretch your wings all the way out so I can look them over and to see how developed your flight muscles are. I also want to know did you ever try flying in the past?" He smiles when he notices what Evea is looking at. "A year from now or longer, dont worry!"

Evea felt relieved she wasnt going to be doing the highest one anytime soon. And looking back at him she stretched her wings as far as she could. They were longer than she had expected but still seemingly small wings, but she was a small fox. Evea waited for Jaldat to see what he had to say.
