Vampire bugs must die, I just pulled one off my arm, and then doused my arm w/ hydrogen peroxide. On a funny note though while some people use a watered down hydrogen peroxide solution, I have found out that pure hydrogen peroxide is used as aircraft fuel by the United States Air Force.

Because only females drink blood, and it's only for reproductive purposes. In all reality they actually eat pollen like beas and butterflies. As for the spelling, go to dictionary.com because I've never been able to get it right... sweatdrop

Actually it was not a mosquito I don't know what it was it was shaped like a star, when I pulled it off I heard a crinkling sound and I had a small (2mm) red dot on my arm, it did not bleed and it has not been itching but the mark is still as clear as ever.

lol actually didn't get it checked, although I kept an eye on it to make sure it wasn't a tic, cuz i really didn't feel like having to deal with rocky mountain spotted fever. It did not get a bulls-eye it did fade, so I am fine, however I do have an MRI today for my bad knee thats been getting worse.

I work at a Citizens Gas location that is right next to a creek. Not to mention when it rains the entire parking lot floods because of the fact there's no drainage set up. I refuel at night, and mosquitos are everywhere. It's a good thing our refuel truck has spiders on it and all the areas we go to have webs everywhere. Lol, there's one spider on the truck that is right next to the door and I sit there and watch him whenever we're filling up the truck. He's gotten very big these past few weeks, and I have named him Aragog. 3nodding
I'm not bothered by them like most other people because I grew up next to a creek where you never were bothered by just one. You'd walk through my yard in the summer and see thousands of them fly out of the grass with every step. One thing I've learned is that if you scratch a bite all the other mosquitos realize you're vulnerable and start attacking you. It's hard to do, but if you ignore the few bites you have and don't scratch yourself at all you'll actually come out with less bites.
