I am going to AX 2009 as Zero from Code Geass, and I have someone making the front blue ball-ish part out of one sided glass, and the question i have is, what should i make the rest of? Im deciding on either plastic or metal. Metal would look better, Plastic would be more practical, without sacrificing too much appearance-wise. Please Help! I've got decidophobia here! D:

I don't think you want to have a sheet of metal hanging from your head. Much too heavy. (^_^);; If you know how to mold the plastic, be my guest. That would turn out wonderfully. Otherwise, I know people have used foam (using the same technique as foam armor), cardboard and hotglue(don't know how that worked, but you can experiment), and on cosplay.com someone made from a football pinata as a base. O.O
Good luck. =)

Ah. K, well I'll try the foam armor trick and if that doesnt work out, I'll try plastic.
