The ivory meadows are right in the middle of the unclaimed lands: named as such because, when not buried under a thick layer of snow, the grasses beneath them are an oddly pristine white -- an obscure breed of grass that seems to sprout all over these lands.

The meadows stretch for quite a ways, and have few trees -- racia, as they are known, looking like an odd cross between an acacia tree and a knarled old oak. They are massive, easily several times the size of a normal tree, and can house well up to ten families of yeeshu with little problem. They also tend to be filled with small inner spaces that make living perfect: occasionally, a rishlan or two will be found curled up in the holes nearer to the ground.

A small little river bubbles through the area, normally frozen, but for the few brief weeks of summer, flowing freely and rapidly. Because of the odd freezing and thawing patterns, flooding is quite common in the springtime, moving out over the grasslands.

Reaper a massive male Ahtun sat in an old racia. His brown fur slightly dusted from the freshly fallen snow. He licked his paws to get the snow out from under his pads and shook off the snow. Reaper scanned the vast white terrain with his striking gray eyes.

Reaper tilted his ears towards the yelping hello. He turned his head and yelped back. He was in a fairly good mood. He waged his bushy tail shpwing his fellow Ahtun that he was no harm.

Reaper leaped up gracefully onto a branch nearby this new male he had never seen. His black nose twiched as he caught scent of him. He tilted his head and yipped at him.

Ti'rie swooped high, watching the two under himself. He lowered in height swooping backwards untill he was fully landed on a bushy branch of a fairly large racia tree. He was not planning to say anything just watch but he was not the greatest at making a sighlent entrance. His green and purple eyes sparkled in the light.

Kakashi crep through the grass, his tail high up in the air as he creapt. His sharingan eye closed as he would let no one see it currently without good reason. His clothes rubbed against his fur as his body moved, the grass brushing against his face. He did not stir nor stammer as it tickled his entire body. The blades on his gloves sliced the bits of grass that dared touch it, slowly making them fall to small bits. Crouching down and lowering his tail he awaited something to happen.

Reaper smiled as only an animal could, "I stick out rather badly myself.." His brown fur fluffed up at a gust of wind blew at them. She smiled once more, "Looks like we got company..." Reaper looked around for some food. "I have some food back where I live.." he stopped himself. He was the new Chieften of his clan and he had already slipped. He felt as though he could trust this ahtun. "I have food.. Its in the mountains.. My Clan lives there.."

Ti noticed the rumbling in the grass, he watched untill he was positive that something was there and it was not his mind playing tricks on him, or the slight breeze the meadow gave off. He leaped off the tree gliding lower in hopes of a dinner, however still unable to see what it was he landed behind the most current movement in the grass.

Outside it was cold as ever, but inside the racia Mongoose experienced the blessed comfort of heat seeping through her thick grey fur. With her nose nudged firmly under her scruffy brush of a tail and her body curled up in a tight little ball, the rishlan kitten was more snug than a rabbit in its den. Well, would be, if it weren't for the insistant pecking at her back she had to endure.

"Go 'way!" she finally growled at the baby Yeeshu. Chortling, it scampered away on its nimble little hooves. With a grumble Goose poked her nose out of the hole, then stopped, staring around. Oh no! It was daylight, and the meadow was occupied; all one could have seen of the little rishan after that was her snout tucking right back into the warmth and safety of the racia. Her belly rumbled, reminding her she hadn't fished since last afternoon, but she ignored it. Instead, she ducked back as far into the hole as she could and curled up again, eying the entrance mistrustfully.

"I'ya go a' night. Iznot thatta long away..."

Momentarily, a short, brown snout jabs out from one of the many holes of one of the Meadows' handful of racia trees, just about as high up as any Rishlan could manage to reach, before being hastily drawn back in. It's cold out, of course, which is only perfectly normal, but being cold just after waking doesn't suit Halahuru at all. He'd much rather laze about in his relatively warm little home, at least for now.

And the tree-space is home to the striped male--the very reason it's as high as he could get. The higher his abode, according to his reasoning, the less likely there might be any unwanted disturbances. Or thefts.

Halahuru, you see, is something of a packrat: an eccentric, hording creature with a great, abiding concern for his wordly possessions. Oh, they're not much to look at, for the most part, but they're his treasures, his great joy. Scraps of fur, one from every meal that had a decent scrap of fur to be salvaged, line the hole; there are feathers, too, many of them from molting Yeeshu; dried summer flowers also adorn his racia den, along with a bit of the ivory grass; shiny stones have been scavenged as well, and there are even a few glistening fish scales. All in all, it's a very cluttered space, but he adores it so, and won't have it any other way. New items are constantly being found and added, 'beautifying' it further.

Inside his cozy hole, he curls up once more, idly rolling a smooth blue stone back and forth between his paws.

*After quite a small... yet exausting walk Bandit found himself wandering into a medow like field.. it was different then anything he had ever seen before. Shrugging it off slowly and quaintly the blue banded one crawled around in the feilds. Yje feeling of the grass hitting his fur wasnt that pleasent of an experiance.. then again, it was more open then the sandy beach's and rough waters. Finally reaching the end of what seemed a endless grassy plain Bandit saw some tree's nearby. Taking refuge under that shade of one he placed one forpaw over the other and started to close his eyes in a restful way.*

After awhile of of toying with the little stone, Halahuru puts it carefully back in its place: a small pile of stones similar to it, all one shade or another of blue. Just because things are cluttered doesn't mean they can't be organized, after all. Besides, keeping things organized makes it easier to take inventories of his hoard.

Steeling himself, he once again sticks his nose out into the cold, and then the rest of his head, so that he can take a good look around. His tail flicking busily behind him, brushing against a soft bit of rabbit fur, he peers down out of his hole, surveying the area beneath the racia tree he calls home.

Heeeey, what's someone doing down there?! Not good, not good! His tail still flicks, but now it's out of agitation. This is HIS house, occasional Yeeshu upstairs not withstanding. It's going to be okay, he thinks comfortingly to himself. Ordinarily, he'd just outright talk to himself, but this is a serious situation! Something must to be done!

Disappearing back into his hole, he picks up in his mouth a larger, dullish gray rock from one of his piles. It's a pile that isn't part his stash, per se, but one he keeps for this express purpose.

Once more, he pops his head out, and glares spitefully down at the resting Rishlan. Positioning himself just right, he lets go his hold on the rock, sending it plummeting down towards the unsuspecting individual below. Halahuru, however, doesn't even stay to watch it hit; he's gone back into his hole to fetch another.
