I would love to post art soon. But until I get my pencil moving across the paper in a constructive way, this guild will have to rely on the others to post art. So, post away. Hello everyone, 3nodding heart
I'd like to ask if anyone else has this problem.
I was really excited out the thought of posting some of my works on to the Art Arena, and i few weeks ago i attempted to.
BUT, since i was using a Flickr account to share my photos and not a Photobucket account (like the submission form suggested)
i wasn't able to upload my art. stressed emo crying
Has anyone else submitted art to the Art Arena successfully with a Flickr account? Or should i get a photobucket one aswell?

I haven't posted are in the area, but if I was going to, I would probably use DeviantArt or Myspace as the host for it. I don't use the others because they kind of seem unreliable.

Well Flickr is reliable, and im sure myspace and such are too. But the question is, Do They Work on Gaia? neutral

Okay i solved the whole 'i cant post in the Art Arena' problem.
I went and got a Photobucket account and it worked. 4laugh
So i guess you DO have to get a Photobucket Account in order to submit art/drawings/photos to the Arenas. 3nodding

Yeah it does, but maybe it would get more complicated if they allowed every image hosting site on the internet
to be able to submit images to Gaia.
Maybe one of us could go and unbearably nag the people
who run Gaia about it blaugh twisted

I'm sorta glad that i got a Photobucket account. ^_^ i can put images in all of my posts on Gaia blaugh and in a lot of other forums that i use.
I would strongly recommend that everyone gets one *gives Photobucket the 'Blithariel's stamp of approval'*. biggrin 3nodding heart mrgreen

Well Photobucket is just for image hosting really.
I haven't really gotten any comments on any photos that i have on my Photobucket account.
And Deviant Art is more for posting Art and other works for appreciation/feedback from other users.
DA is similar to the Art Arena on Gaia in that sense. blaugh

Well its pretty easy 3nodding
After logging in you can add (upload) images or videos to your account.
You can upload them from your computer
or use other ways to get images that you want onto your account (for example, using a specific picture's URL).
After the image(s) have finished uploading, you go to a screen
where you can add a Title, Description and Tags to each image you have just uploaded.
When you put your mouse cursor over each image, it shows a list of different codes.
If you want to put an image in a forum post here on Gaia,
you just have to copy and paste the 'IMG Code' into the message.
Just like this : 
You can also customize each album you have, with a background,
text colour and different frames around your images.
