Nothing beats a good challenge to wake up your imagination when Writer's Block is getting you down. By thinking about something different for a time, you keep your brain active and give the Plot Bunnies a run for their money.
My plan is to post new challenges to hopefully inspire the writers that gather in this guild. There is no time limit or prizes, other than the satisfaction of completion and hopefully some reviews.
Now for the important part - don't post your stories in the forum. Post them on a site like Fanfiction.net or LiveJournal and leave a link for all of us to find. I want to keep this as uncluttered as possible.
Thanks for reading, and best of luck! ~ Norgefier-san

First Challenge: 500-word Drabble
Your first challenge is to write a 500-word drabble. There is no prompt, but there are several rules:
1. Under no circumstances may it be more than 500 words. The challenge is to get it to be exactly 500 - no more, no less.
2. No Dialogue - you may make minimal references to speaking, but if you can avoid it, that would be preferable.
3. Must be in the third person [he, she, they].
4. Must involve at least one flashback.
5. Must revolve around an unusual pairing that you don't usually write.
6. It can be humorous, but no crack allowed.
7. Keep it PG-13 or less.
Looking forward to seeing the results! Good luck.
