I just have to say i hate marylen manson, slipknot, ICP and basically any band that relies more on a gimic than actual talent.

I tried getting into Devil wears prada,
some slipknot,
etc... *dont know id DWP counts as a gimic but it kinda is to me*
and it just wasn't my thing. i didn't feel anything but m head hurting from it all.

eh idk, i just dont get like...any feeling from them?
lol I'm not going to hate on them randomly bc that pisses me off when people just randomly hate soemthing without even trying it.
I've listened to them a few times, and all I can really say Is that I like their lyrics.... But I'm the kind of person that no matter how AMAZING the lyrics are, they mean nothing if you can't hear them.... lol
trust me, I've tried really hard to get into them bc a LOT of my friends are into them and love them and etc, but Its just he over the top screamo that annoys me greatly and I've heard it waaaay too many times.

I think the lyrics themselves are just amazing and so deep and etc but I just cant listen to them....=/ Not hating on their fans. lol I guess their not really a 'gimic' idk i think its just the screamo thing thats a bit too much for me. *and I like screamo, its jstu too too much*

Lawl. I love that people are die hard fans of screamo and/or metal, and some don't even know what the lyrics are to some of the songs, Basically because it's all screams and shouts.

idk, for me when it comes to "screamo", its either go all out or not at all. i dont like whimpy lil bands like chiodos. and uber fans of the hardcore genre understand the lyrics fine.
which reminds me, me and my friend got in an arguement about tdwp vs. emmure. she loves emmure, but hates devil, cuz "its just noise". i love both bands, but if any band is noise, its emmure. plus devil wears prada is WAY more melodic than emmure.

& top donators get signs. scene kids think chiodos is. and of course bands can be hardcore, its a genre of music. (sub-genre of punk) hardcore bands include, old Atreyu, the devil wears prada, the human abstract, endwell, etc.
