Hello, everybody! I just can't contain my excitement over my newest news into the world of Pokemon! Nintendo announced that they were releasing a brand new major Pokemon game towards Fall 2009. They have now released just which games they have in store for us!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring you news of
Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver!

These are the anxiously awaited remakes of the Gold and Silver games of almost ten years ago. They will be for the Nintendo DS. The games are presumed to, like FireRed and LeafGreen, follow the basic plot of the originals. However, there are likely to have extras that would allow you to catch the pokemon in generations following Johto. Also, Nintendo informed the pokefans of the world that Heart Gold and Soul Silver will have features not yet in even the newest pokemon games! Exciting, yes? Frankly, I've been sitting on my hands, waiting for this to happen! This is the most exciting news I've received on Pokemon in at least a year or two!

So, what are your thoughts? Does this sound like wonderful news to you? Or do you think this is a basic idea to recycle an old game? Share your thoughts here!

I think it would be neat. Back when the gold, silver, and crystal versions were first created, the graphics were horrific. But, now that the gaming graphics have improved, they should be awesome remakes. Made for Nintindo DS's only.

Yes, I was actually told of this a couple of weeks ago at Game Stop when I went to buy Platinum Version for my DS. Can't wait to get this one, too! whee
