Okay i Have the master sword from LoZ:OoT but i dont have an authentic looking sheath!
i have never done one of these before but if it help here are the measurements:
hilt-tip of blade: 45"
blade width: 1 1/2"
blade length: 34 1/16"
What could be used to make this:

you could make it of basswood. Just use a layering method. the top and bottom would be full pieces, then the one in the middle is just around the edges, like a spacer. Make sure your middle is slightly thicker than the blade. You can line it with felt or fleece or something so you don't scratch up the paint on the blade.
