[x]I couldn't actually copy-and-paste the posts to the guild, that would simply take forever. I put the link up for a reference to anyone who wants to read and catch up (which I doubt), so it's mostly for VIXEN and I. Looking is fine but please don't post. On a sidenote:

Miakoda stopped dead in her tracks, being pulled back by Daio. She kept on trying to move until what he said registered itself in her mind. “Wait…” she said, but noticed the reptile standing in front of them. Her eyes darted back and forth to Daio, clutching the spear, the spear itself, and then to the lizard. “No, no, no. You’re not leaving me alone!” she snapped. Mia was about to say something else when the lizard in front of them couldn’t wait anymore and charged. By pure instinct and sheer dumb luck, Mia grabbed the spear, her hands on top of Daio’s, and then shucked it forward, impaling the beast through the throat and out of the back of its head.
Blood spattered, trailing down the spear. Surprised at what she’d done, Mia let go of the spear before the blood could reach the tips of her fingers. “I won’t last without you, and you know that,” she glanced around, shaking visibly. “I’m clumsy, remember?” she asked, “Now please—please, Daio, don’t leave!”

He found he was suddenly being controlled as Mia over rode his grip on the spear. Instead of facing the problem head on and bravely, Daio looked away squeemishly. The spear met something hard, it resisted, and then the spear pushed right through. There was a sickening sound, that of gurgling blood, and the spear was weighed down by the reptile's dead body.
Daio, still in shock, let go of the spear. It was too dark to tell but he was completely pale.
"Look what I did," He whispered, a surprised tone in his voice. Even though Mia had guided his hand he credited himself for actually holding the spear. There was a stunned look on his face though he knew he should be happy.
The lizard's cold, black eyes were still open but it wasn't breathing anymore. He nudged its bloody corpse with his leg to test if it was alive. It didn't respond so he put a foot to its head and pulled spear out. The weapon was completely covered in blood.
Daio held the weapon in the moonlight, inspecting it when there were other noises. He was suddenly alert and looked in the direction of the sound, it was coming from the path they left behind them.
A couple of village hunters were running down the road, carrying torches in their hands. In the other, they each held a spear. Daio put his own down when he saw that they weren't more lizards.
"Hey, you two! What are you doing all the way out here?" One of them asked, coming to a stop in front of them. Daio was spared of answering that emberassing question, that they were running away, when one of them spotted the corpse.
"Woah! Hey, did you do this?" The light from the torch was cast on Daio.
"O-of course, yeah!" Daio stuttered.
"You killed this thing?" The other one asked, looking impressed. "Nice. Come on, we have to go back to the village."
"What happened?" Daio blurted out.
"We were attacked by Baryonixes, nasty little things."
"Did people die?" He asked nervously. It got quiet.
"Some. Your brother," The man cast his light on Mia, "was wounded. The elder shamans say he'll be fine."
"Come on, let's get this thing back to village and skin it," The other one said.
