✘Όѳӄαϻΐ Νѳ Ҝцʀεɴαΐ✘ They say freak When your singled out Oh, the red well it filters through
愛 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXDeep strands of maroon colored hair danced idly in the winds of early morning. Ookami watched as the sun rose over the distance mountain, setting the deep red of her eyes alight. She was lost deep within the realm of thought. It had not been a few days prior that her Genin team had been selected by her academy sensei's. She was not sure how her squad mates fared in comparison to her talent, but she would just have to make due. She was one of the most promising Konouchi of her time, or at least that is what they told her. She couldn't care what they thought of her, she was not becoming a ninja to impress anyone. She ran her pale finger through her long hair and sighed. She could not help but to wonder if she was suppose to be enthused with the idea of having team mates or not. She could handle it alright, if she was not forced to deal with another female student. They thought this was play time, mostly as easy way to flirt with boys. She could hardly stand being a girl herself, let alone deal with another one. Either way it mattered not. She really did not feel to much emotion on the whole entire issue. Truth Ookami did not feel a lot of emotion in general, or at least that is the way she presented herself. She was to driven to let fleeting emotions get in the way of her ultimate goals.
She looked down at her watch and sighed she only had an hour until she was supposed to meet with her team mates and her Sensei. She sighed thinking on how she really did not want to do this. She wished she did not have to go through the whole"ninja-trainee" process. She was not in this to create life lasting bonds and memories. She was not doing this to make friends. All she wanted was to become a member of ANBU, that was her only concern. Her eyes flickered wondering how much time she could really waste just standing around. She one was not one to show up early, and make idle chit-chat with those who showed before the others. No, she wanted to get there just before or after her sensei, that way she could get down to what was necessary, skipping the niceties. She chewed idly on her lower lip as reached into her back, pulling out a small ball wrapped in rice-paper. It was Onigiri , filled with some sort of plum filling. Her mother had made them for her, thinking it was cause her to have an overly exceptions day. At the thought of her mother, a half-smile crossed her lips. She tried so hard to provide a decent life for Ookami. Not, having a father did not really seem to have a big effect on the young girl. No one ever talked about Ookami's father, it was if her was evil. She was not sure. All she knew was that he was alive out there some where.
Ookami did not need a father anyway, she came from one of the most prominent clans to of Konoha. She proudly wore her jacket with the symbol of her kin. She sighed walking away from the bridge in which she stood. She made her way idly through the village. Her hands deeply into her pockets. Her Maroon hair hung gently over her crimson eyes. People stared at her maliciously, just as they always did. All the adults new something about her father that she did not. They respected and feared Ookami, for her strong presence and they feared the blood that ran through her veins. She silently walked as people stared, it irked her to have people watch her like she was a ticking time bomb. As if she would massacre everyone around her if the gave her metaphorically leash to much slack. She balled her hands into fists as she quickened her pace. She would rather deal with the people of her squad then deal with those every haunting gazes. She sometimes wished she was as evil as the father that left her behind. She wished she knew the havoc her had wrought. She almost wished she had that sort of rage to let herself be able to lose all control. She chewed idly on her lip as she allowed the small waves of emotion to breach her thick shell of apathy. She gently moved her hair from her face, placing it behind her ear. She sighed seeing that she was the first to reach the site in which they were supposed to meet. "Great....just fantastic"

Akemi was walking towards the meeting with the rest of her team in a half stupor. She’d been up all night reading... again. As she stumbled towards the meeting place at a pace that a snail could easily top, she thought about all the different things she’d read last night. Akemi was expecting a test from their new instructor and had reviewed on everything she could. Akemi had always been the teacher’s pet, not on purpose. It just happened. Loving to read and the fact that she hated unanswered questions always lead her to looking up more than was necessary.
Akemi thought of her weaknesses and then started to think of ways to use them to her advantage. I’m not very strong so I should let others handle all the hand-to-hand stuff. Suits me fine. I hate hitting people anyway. I’ll wait for chance to one of my more advanced jutsu and try to catch them off guard. She continued to make small battle plans in her head.
Looking u for the first time in ten minutes Akemi realized she’d been going the wrong way. Sighing she turned around and started walking. That was nothing new. She was so scatterbrained when it came to going places. People generally never asked her for directions. After ten more minutes she back at her house. Akemi was glad her parents weren’t home ore they’d be having a laugh right now.
Now on the right track Akemi knew it would only take her fifteen minutes of walking but she was tired of walking. Akemi smiled as she looked up. She loved running. Tightening the straps on her small bag she took off like a bird in flight. People were always amazed that such a short person could move so fast. Just like a weasel she wove in and out of the crowds of people as she moved towards the training grounds. Akemi was there in a little under seven minutes. She was laughing and panting as she reached the area they were supposed to meet. There was someone there already to her surprise. Another girl. Akemi just walked by her with a mumbled “Hi.” Then sat down and pulled out a book. Now came the hard part; Waiting for the teacher.

Xin stepped outside of his home and closed the door. The street outside was very busy seeing how it was afternoon and he lived right below a market.
His hair was light blonde and spiked up colorfully. A newly acquired leaf headband was tied around his forehead, gleaming brightly in the sun. His eyes were dark brown and squinty most of the time unless he was directly focused on something.
He wore a light sleeveless vest which was tied by red threads near his chest. His chest was still very visible because he had neglected to tie his shirt properly. His pants were dark black and tucked into black boots just below his knees, making them look puffy. The boots were especially light, designed so his footsteps could barely be heard. They were also tied with red lace. A common theme of his was the black armbands that were tied around each forearm and the bands around both wrists. He had piercings on his right on the forward helix and the lobe, black stainless steel rings. He had matching snakebite piercings on his bottom lip, the same kind as his ear piercings.
Xin maneuvered through the countless number of people in the market, trying to make it through as quickly as possible.
"Get out of the way!" Xin shouted impatiently, shoving people as he picked up his pace.
"Hey kid! Watch where you're going!"
"Crazy hooligan!"
"I know did you see his hair?!"
"And the piercings! The God damn piercings!"
"Kids these days..."
Eventually, Xin was on the correct road leading to where he was supposed to meet. He didn't know the address he just memorized the spot by heart. Xin also knew that if kept going at this lazy pace he would be the last one there, a bad impression that he didn't want to make.
Xin wondered what his team mates would be like, probably some other runts from the school. He wasn't a genius himself but he could take care of himself in a scrap. He appeared to be the typical Konoha ninja except with a nasty attitude.
Xin reached his destination a bit later. He saw two other people, both female.
"Oh God," Xin sighed quietly so they didn't hear. When he joined them, he realized that one was Akemi, the bookish girl from his grade. He didn't really know much about her personality or skill level, he had never taken the time to talk to her. The other girl was Ookami. He knew of her slightly more than Akemi, only because she was "infamous".
She was probably the most talented and had the greatest potential in their grade. Like Akemi, Ookami appeared quiet and kept to herself. Xin really didn't know anything about them but he already hated the fact that he'd have to be with two girls. They might be strong but there was no way he'd get along with them. They wouldn't get his humour and they wouldn't understand him, and vice-versa. At least the sensei would be male.
"Hey guys," Xin announced himself and sat beside Akemi. "Where's sensei?" He said as he leaned over and put his hands on Akemi's book, trying to see what she was reading.

Akemi had been sitting quietly enjoying her book for little more than five minutes when someone’s hands and words pulled away from the story. Looking up she saw a boy with strange hair and piercings. Akemi had heard rumours about such a boy. His question registered with her a few moments after she had glanced up.
“Sensei? I have no idea.” Akemi said in a quiet voice. After that she moved the book gently away from the boy’s hands and continued reading. Looks like there’s someone obnoxious in our group. How disappointing. Akemi thought before she got lost in the book in front of her again. It was too bad that the teacher wasn’t here yet Akemi wanted to get this day over with and then go for run. She didn’t mind the waiting so much as it was the fact that she had to wait with people. Akemi and people didn’t get along well. She was to quiet for most people. The few friends she had were in different groups.
Closing her book Akemi decided it might be a good idea to see what her teammates were like personality wise. She could guess what the boy would be like but the girl she didn’t know enough about. Sure people knew her name but they knew nothing about her. It was like reading the title of a book and trying to guess what its’ contents were. You might get it right but there is that off chance that you’ll be wrong.
Standing up Akemi smiled sweetly at the boy. “I’m Akemi. Who are you?” She asked. Akemi knew the boy was in her class but she didn’t know many of the people in her class’ names. She it started with an “X” and that was all she could remember. Akemi memorize almost a complete book with incredible speed but when it came to people’s names it was like wind blowing through grass.

Xin was a bit dissapointed by getting shot down by Akemi. He took her actions as a sign for him to back off. Other than a dissapointed frown, Xin did not continue to bother her.
He was already starting to dislike being in this group. There was a bookworm who didn't like to have her stuff touched and then there was Ookami. He wasn't even going to bother with her. She was the dark, silent type, he doubted she'd even acknowledge his assistance.
Xin stood up and paced back and for, his hands in his pockets. There was an awkward silence for a while, something he wasn't very used to. He kicked a few pebbles back and forth, making the least of his time.
Some time later, the girl with the book stood up and introduced herself. Xin looked at her a bit strangely. Did she just want to finish her chapter, or was she always snobby?
"Yeah, I kinda know who you are," Xin rolled his eyes, he did have class with her for a couple of years. They hung out with different people so they never really met. "I'm Xin. How 'bout you? You gonna say anything or you just gonna sit there?"
Xin was speaking to Ookami currently. It might not have been such an idea to talk to someone who could flatten him like that but he was peeved that neither of them even knew his name.

✘Όѳӄαϻΐ Νѳ Ҝцʀεɴαΐ✘ They say freak When your singled out Oh, the red well it filters through
愛 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOokami drew out her kunai and twirled one in her fingers as her crimson eyes flickered softly. She listened to the boy and girl talk, She was not particularly interested in getting involved. She had seen both of these people before but she had never really taken the time to look at them. She leaned against a railing as looked them over carefully. Despite the girl named Akemi's soft and apparent odd nature, Ookami knew she was more respectable than the male. She had observed during class that Akemi was defiantly not the hands on kind of girl. Yet, despite that she was intelligent, and most certainly had skill. It seemed odd to Ookami, Akemi did not seem the type of woman fit to be a ninja. The crimson eyed ninja could only help but wonder why the book-worm gentle girl had chosen this path. Was it because of family pressure? Perhaps she was hoping to kill off her emotions....or even better to prove herself to someone? Perhaps there was vengeance involved. Ookami could not be certain, but she would make sure to figure it out during their time together. In the end, she was not sure what she was going to gain from this. None the less the Hokage had said it was necessary for her character, not her skill to go through this, so she would.
The other boy was Xin, she knew that well. Yet, she would not give him the satisfaction of acknowledging him. He was definitely one of those loud mouth types who thought they knew everything, there was a very precise difference between her teammates. One was very intelligent, but apparently soft, Ookami would have to compensate for Akemi's lack of the killer instinct. The other was arrogant, and would probably be the one Ookami would have to save on a regular basis. Babysitting.....Oh joy.....She thought to her self as her crimson eyes became dark, a deep maroon shade as she watched the others. It was really starting to irk her that apparently her Sensei was the most incompetent of them all. Her hair blew idly in the wind as she continued to twirl her kunai in her hand. She closed her eyes and listened to Xin begining to bother Akemi. It was in these times, Ookami was thankful for her reputation. She chewed on her lip not really wanting to be here. she was never quite certain how to handle social situation. She allowed her thoughts to wander, until Xin spoke to her, the only reason she knew this is because Akemi had fallen silent. She slowly opened one of her eyes and raised a brow at him."You are being rather childish."She said this matter-of-factly. She then opened her other eyes and slanted her gaze as she watched Xin. Her eyes were piercing and heartless, and she was not someone to be disrespected.
"There isn't really a need to introduce myself, I do not plan on being your friend...but for Akemi's sake. I am Ookami No Kurenai."

After she had gotten what she wanted Akemi wiped the smile of her face and it became blank. She started to think of their introductions and could guess which one would be the hardest to get along with. For now it would be Xin but that could change if the boy could grow up a little more. She sat with her book again thinking about the two people here trying to analyze them and figure their strengths and weaknesses. It wasn’t hard with Xin. He was so open. Just like book in many senses. He would probably be the one trying to do the most and getting into trouble. He was obviously rash but he was most definitely not as stupid as he acted. He wouldn’t have made it out of class if he was exactly how he behaved in rumours. Akemi knew he would problems but just like a puppy Xin could be trained over time.
Next was Ookami’s analysis. She would be likely to cause more problems on the teamwork side of things in the long run. She quite obviously preferred working alone than in a group. It was obvious who the best in their group individually was. Ookami would cause some problems to any plans that Akemi made for them but Akemi would work around it. Akemi knew she’d have to earn Ookami’s respect quickly to get her to pay even the remotest amount of attention to her ideas and that would take some serious work.
Finally she analyzed herself. It was obvious she was the group’s weak link. Akemi wasn’t strong physically, only fast. She could last a fight but that was it. She relied on her mind more than her body. She knew that she would have to rely on the others to help when fighting. Akemi knew that Ookami could that just by looking at her, She wasn’t too sure about Xin but he would get things started anyways. Akemi knew she was probably the smartest of the group and most technical wise but she couldn’t do everything she knew about. She would end up having to make plans and rely almost solely upon non-physical attacks.
Akemi had finally finished analyses and was relatively pleased with everything. This group may not from any tight bonds but they would most certainly be the most efficient of all the groups to the best of her knowledge. Looks like the higher-ups did something right for once. Akemi thought smiling and laughing to herself slightly. Finally Akemi put her book away and pulled out paper and something write with. Now was the time to start making plans. She would come up with some formations and see if they would work. Akemi knew this wouldn’t work in the beginning with their group but it was best to be prepared. Maybe she could persuade them to try it out. So she scribbled waiting for the sensei that was obviously the most irritating of all of them so far. “Great no sense of time.” She muttered under her breath.

Xin was feeling particulalry brave this morning, his confidence boosted by the fact that Ookami could not legally do anything to him under the law. He conveniently side-stepped the fact that if it really came to it, he could lose badly to her. There was something about a female being stronger that irked him.
"Good, I wasn't even going to ask you to be my friend!" Xin shouted defensively, his pacing around had stopped. "It's not like I need a dark, creepy, emo girl to be on my a** all the time. And I don't even care how strong you think you are, alright?!"
Xin sat down once again, this time not so close to Akemi. He was already feeling alienated by his group. He could tell they hated him, but that was fine because he hated them just as much. What good could possibly come out of this pairing? He was stuck in a group with the worst possible partners, their collaboration could bear no fruit.
There was once again an awkward silence in the air, multiplied by the fact that he didn't like either of them. Their sensei could not be any more late. Wasn't he supposed to be the responsible one? Of course not, that would make sense, and nothing about this group made sense. Their sensei would probably be a complete p***k as well.

✘Όѳӄαϻΐ Νѳ Ҝцʀεɴαΐ✘ They say freak When your singled out Oh, the red well it filters through
愛 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOokami continued to twirl her kunai in her left hand as she spoke softly."You are so very quick to judge...someone you know nothing about....someone you could never understand." She said bringing her carmine eyes to look over at Akemi and Xin."Truth is I don't want to be either of your friends....I don't want any friends....I would not want to place the burden of being associated with me upon you shoulders" She trailed off. She was not one to be to rash about anything, and this would be no exception. She chewed idly on her lower lip, this in fact was such a bad lip that her bottom lip often bled. Her eyes flickered watching the two for a moment before turning her eyes to the sky. She threw her kunai idly, and let it stick into a tree across the way from them. Her crimson hair blew in the wind as she turned her gaze to look out, seeing if she could see another person, who might just be their sensei, of course she had no such luck. She idly rested her head on her hand and sighed. It was going to be a long day. She allowed her thoughts to wander trying not to be consumed by her current distaste for their inadequate sensei. Ookami feel completely silent as her harsh eyes glazed over.
It was not for a while, that the sound of a pencil drawing on paper drew Ookami out of her thoughts. She glanced around and saw that it was Akemi who was drawing. She looked more carefully from a distance, seeing that the paper appeared to be formation plans. Ookami drew closer to Akemi, and kneeled beside her. She confirmed her previous thought, seeing that it was indeed combat formations. Ookami smiled sort of, she realized that she had previously underestimated Akemi's purpose. This is where her worth lied. This would be her contribution to the group. "Assuming this is for our group....this says you are a long ranged fighter....and you are relying on Xin and I to be your muscle..."Ookami trailed off running threw the formations on the paper in her head. She nodded to herself and spoke in quick whispers. "I think it would be smart of us....to work together as much as we can...apparently our sensei...does not care to be one time...or that he or she is wasting ours...If that isn't important to them I doubt our lives will be either. On these missions we will have to rely on one another to stay alive, because I don't think our Jounin will be doing much to protect us.."

((I’m going to bring the sensei into things using this post so it’s really going to suck. Sorry.))
Akemi caught most of the exchange. Xin was fairly rash to be saying what he said but Akemi didn’t let it bother her. He was probably just antsy and tired of waiting like all of them. Akemi just continued on with her drawing and planning.
Akemi was interrupted in her planning a few short moments later as Ookami came over and seemed to take interest in it. Akemi smiled. At least Ookami would listen and she was pretty sure Xin would too when the time came. “Yes that’s right. Actually theres something I want to ask you before the Sensei gets here. Both of you. What are you best at?” Akemi hoped they answered to their ability. It would make things so much easier to plan all the battles out. After all knowing what was dangerous to them would help her to plan as to whom they should fight without hesitation and whom they should be more careful about.
Looking from one to the other she waited for her answer but to her disappointment it wouldn’t come. Akemi smiled as at long last the sensei showed his face. The man was regular height and slouched over. He was dragging his feet as he walked towards them moving at a very slow pace. Oh great. Now he shows up. Akemi thought hating the man’s timing and already disliking him.

((I'll Pretty it up soon. Gotta do some coding.))
The man Came sauntering up the hill hunched over himself. His name was Minatsu, Kaoru and he was probably the laziest person you would ever have the misfortune of meeting. Looking at the three before him Kaoru sighed. Grimacing he said; “Well let’s get this over with. I’m Kaoru but to you three I’ll be known as sensei for the next while. Let’s get this clear right now. I don’t want to be here so if you have any major problems don’t bring them to me. I’ll show you guys what you need to know and that’s it. If you want to learn more than that find a book or someone else. Any questions?” Kaoru wasn’t even willing to be doing this. Stupid Hokage beat him in a game and this was the bet.
Looking from each the kids before him Kaoru could already tell they weren’t going to take it too well they had someone like him for a sensei. This was going to turn out to be a bad next few months for him. There was going to be so much work and not even counting all the papers he already had to deal with now he also had to teach these snivelling brats how to be shinobi. Oh joy. These twerps are prolly gonna want me to show them as much as I can. He thought disgusted with himself for agreeing to such a stupid bet in the first place.
Finally Kaoru looked at the ground at his feet sat down and waited for the questions he knew would be coming soon. They always did. He had tried being a sensei once before and hated it. “Well at least it can’t get any worse.” He muttered under his breath hoping that didn’t jinx him.

Xin rolled his eyes sarcastically when Ookami finished her little speech. She was way too melo-dramatic for his taste. He could never imagine getting along with her, even in a thousand years.
Xin sat quietly as the two girls contemplated some formations. He frowned upon what they were doing.
"You know, this isn't like a board-game where you enter with the same strategy everytime. We're ninjas, we have to adapt to the current situation, not rely on some little formation you cooked up in your spare time," Xin said, avoiding Akemi's question.
He took the paper from her and examined it. It was plain to see that he wasn't the centerpiece of their attack, something that greatly battled him. Ookami was supposedly the prodigy so she would get all their oppurtunities, he'd have to be a distraction. Out of anger, Xin crumpled up the paper and tossed it to the ground.
"Garbage," He muttered under his breath.
Their sensei finally arrived, Xin stood up out of respect. He didn't look too professional, Xin got the impression that he didn't want to be there. Wow, all of them were four-of-a-kind.
The more the guy spoke, the more Xin disliked him. Maybe Kaoru didn't realize it but he was coming off as total douche bag. He wasn't somebody Xin could get behind.
"I'm Xin," He introduced himself and bowed slightly. "When's our first mission?" He cut right to the chase.
