For the past, couple months,
ive been fighting off illnesses back and forth.
I had a perfect health beforehand,
but something happened to change all that.
It started with a staph infection
i had from being manager for my
school's high school basketball team.
From there, i took two different medications
to rid myself of it. It healed over,
and my life returned to normal.
About three days later,
I had a high fever of over 104 degrees
and cold chills that wouldnt go away.
my parents brought me to urgent care
and said i had flu symptoms,
gave me suggestions for treatments,
and then sent me home.
Two days later,
a blotchy rash-like pattern appeared
and i had a sore throat.
I was returned to the urgent care facilities
to seek attention, to only find out that the rash
was and infection due to the
high fever's sudden drop the days before.
A month passed, and May came.
We went to visit my family in minnesota,
for the weekend, but ended up discovering
another unusual pattern of spots and blotches.
The days after progressed,
and it remained looking like a few bug bites
on my foot, but then durrasticly surfaced
to be something more serious.
We went to the clinic for a diagnosis.
Nothing.
We waited a period of five days,
and returned to the same doctor on May 9th.
Nothing.
My parents started freaking out in a frenzy of panic,
so i was brought to a more advanced and specialized clinic.
Nothing.
Finally, my mother gave in,
and drove me to the best hospital in our area,
which is about three hours away,
and in a huge-a** city, compared to our
insignificant location in nowhere-ville.
I was taken to a dermatologist,
who insisted that they could figure me out.
I doubted it.
But after several blood tests,
three cultures, four examinations,
and an entire autopsy later,
they came to a conclusion:
Apparently, after about two months,
since my staph infection,
the meds that were supposed to help me,
actually just about killed me.
This illness has presumed
(ever since day one)
taken over my legs and
taken away the freedom of movement from me.
I feel pain constantly,
and no one knew what it was.
But now, these people THINK they have it...
So with this,
they told me that i have vasculitis,
which is an infectious illness
that is pumped throughout the blood stream
and pops blood vessels,
which destroyed my nerves,
making me close-to-paraplegic
and unable to make a fist in either of my hands...
Im on meds now,
but i have to miss school for a couple days
and im not supposed to move at all,
or the infection with take over my organs.
(though, of course im still moving...
they cant take that from me)
And so far, im still breathing and im not blind yet. :" )
I know its been going on for quite some time now,
but i didnt think it was such a big deal, until now...
I just thought id let my second family
know about this ordeal im going through...
(thank you for anyone that
actually
read through all of that...
its quite a rambling... X"P ...)
