• • Vanessa Lewis ← TheOutspokenTwin  [I'm hard to forget.] [✖]Vanessa Lewis[My name's not good enough for you?!] [✖]'Ness, but she really only likes to be called Vanessa.[Excuse you?] [✖]I'm a lady.[Bake me a cake.] [✖]Eighteen.[Boo you, racist whore.] [✖]Human.[Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful.] [✖]As a self conscious individual, Vanessa is always sure to keep her appearance in check. Having always been told she was a beautiful it has no doubt gone to her head. Constantly she'll be checking her appearance in the mirror, even though she'd look perfectly fine without any make-up upon her face. Sharing the features of her brother, she has vibrant green eyes and sharp features to go along with them. Envied high cheek bones are upon her face, while plump lips adorn her mouth. Her hair, a dark rich brown, falls gracefully around her, the long locks often tied up into a messy up-do.
When it comes to her fashion, she always tries to look her best, getting dressed up for every occasion. She can often she found wearing heels, even though she already stands at the height of 5'8, which makes her tower over many people that surround her. The height allows her to have a rather lean look, though she isn't stick think. Having always cared about staying in shape, she's always been a work out fiend, her toned muscles showing for it. Though don't be fooled, she might think she's pretty, but she knows she has her flaws; she's just always sure to cover them.
[I love a good game of tug of war.] [✖]A member of the Alliance, Vanessa obviously has dark tendencies.[This is me. You better like it.] [✖]She's quite the b***h, but only if she doesn't like you. Otherwise she can be your best friend. Her brother's always saying she's too outspoken for her own good, but she honestly doesn't care. She says what she wants when she wants, Tristan is the only one that can slightly keep her in check. However, she never did grow out of her pranking obsession, considering she still loves to use her powers to make unforunate things happen to people. But don't worry, she's not a cold hearted person like the majority of Alliance members, thankfully she got out of there before she was too corrupted.
But naturally she still has a cocky attitude at times, that often gets her into a lot of trouble. It's not that she gets herself in fights, no she doesn't like fighting since it might smear her make-up her mess up her hair. Instead, she likes to gamble. She's the first to jump at any opportunity to make a bet, and with her luck most would think she would always win. Unforunately, that's not true thanks to her flawed personality. Her conceited attitude often causes her to lash out in anger, which then makes her powers go a bit haywire. But if able to stay calm like her brother she would naturally always win. [I'm no Cindellera.] [✖]Born into the Alliance Vanessa and her fraternal twin were fated to a life of darkness, however, they surprisingly avoided their fate due to the assignment that his parents were given. They grew up at the Alliance headquarters til they reached the age of ten, constantly playing with the powers that they had been given. Their abilities engendered them to play a lot of pranks since they found that when one lacked luck bad things occured. Giddy at such a thought, the two were always playing pranks, and always finding a way that they could win. When their tenth birthday rolled on by a drastic shift in their lifestyle occured; they moved to the suburbs. Out of a city of darkness and into a place with rich housewives and people that had no powers. It was hard at first, and the two were utterly confused.
It wasn't until the two were pulled aside that they learned of their reason to be there. Their parents informed them that they had been sent their by the Alliance in order to complete a job, and that while they were there they couldn't use their powers. Horrified by such a thought, Vanessa finally felt the pains of boredom. Before her life had been consumed by her powers, but she was now she had to act just like everyone else: dull and boring. It was when she was about fourteen when she started to worry so much about her appearance, always striving to look her best, for that was when she started to get fawned over by various boys, boosting up her self esteem. However, schooled by the Alliance, she has always known that love and compassion are not for her and instead chooses to tease those boys that care for her.
Once her parents revealed both to she and Tristan that it was their time to complete a mission, Vanessa couldn't help but be a bit eager. Having been forced to stay away from her powers from so long it was nice to finally have some excitement in her life. That was how they ended up at CPA. Without having been told why, the two went there immediately after their parents had been instructed too, waiting for further instruction from the Alliance. [Bang shoot.] [✖]Surprisingly, she's a rather skilled fighter, thanks to all the classes her brother made her take as she was growing up. If need be she could probably defend herself in hand to hand combat, but she's also always certain to have a gun or knife on her at all times. Seeing the horrors of the Alliance had trained her to always be ready for a fight. .[Mine, b***h.] [✖]No one takes the ring that she and her brother both wear.
Hair products, clothes, and make-up are not allowed to be touched. Ever.
Her deck of cards can be used by her, no one else.[Bippity Bobbity Boo.] [✖]Luck. Both Vanessa and Tristan have the ability to control luck and everything to go with it. If they desire someone to have bad luck then they might "accidentally" get hit by a car, or something worse. Getting on their good side is a must considering that they can either make you have a good life or bad life. Tristan may have moved past his days of pranking, but Vanessa still feels that such a thing is not beneath her.
Also, because of their ties to the Alliance they both have the ability to manipulate the dark. Some believe that they might be able to control light as well, considering their powers, but their parents have always frowned upon them looking into that. [I'm almost perfect.] [✖]Her conceited attitude often causes her powers to not work effectively.

I hate blowing out candles on those stupid cakes.] [✖]Eighteen[Isn't it obvious?] [✖]Male.[Why can't we all just get along?] [✖]Human, unless noted otherwise.[Do I look decent?] [✖]It isn't difficult to figure out that Tristan and his sister are not identical twins, but it is still obvious that the two are indeed related. They share similar features just as any sibling would. Both have sharp features and high cheekbones, along with vibrant green eyes. Though Tristan has the arguably softer look when it comes to the two, considering the determined look his sister always wears is hard to distinguish on his face. Instead, a distant look can usually be found in his green orbs, which causes his sister to always snap at him to get back into reality. Both of his ears are pierced once, each always having a simple black stud in them. The only other piece of jewlery he wears is a ring that both he and his sister have.
He stands at the grand height of 6'1, but he lacks muscle to compensate. No, he's not a completely lanky boy, in fact he's far stronger than would think. However, not much muscle mass is visable. His apparel is usually rather simple, consisting of basic T-shirts and jeans, nothing special, he doesn't feel the need to dress to impress. The colors are usually bland as well, since he doesn't really wish to bring attention to himself. The hair of the boy is long and wispy and always in front of the boys eyes. The brown locks are highlighted with bits of natural blonde, but it usually appears rather messy since he doesn't try to keep up with it.[I didn't choose this.] [✖]Having parents in the Alliance he and his sister were recruited at a rather young age. However, they were never put on many jobs considering that they were 'hired' by Jessica's parents at a young age.[I'm rather bland.] [✖]In the words of his sister he is, "So boring", which really isn't exxagerating. A calm and collected individual there isn't much that can make the boy stray from whatever task he desires to get done. Though don't be fooled, he is quite the daydreamer. One would find it odd for a boy with seemingly brilliant concentration, but upon realizing why he daydreams it's a bit more obvious. Jessica. Having grown up with the girl he's fallen head over heels, though being with her is completely impossible. Not that he couldn't get her to feel the same way, it's more because of the job. That doesn't mean he isn't protective of her. She and his sister are the two people that he gets extremely possessive of, if anyone touches with the intention to hurt he will surely lash out. Though otherwise he's a calm individual.
His collected attitude does come quite in handy when it comes to his addiction, which is of course gambling. His powers naturally always give the boy splendid luck, but without a calm attitude it would be easy for his powers to get out of check which then cause him to ultimatly lose. But he never loses never.
Sarcastic comments will very rarely escape the boy, and exclamations are even less likely to be heard. As his sister says he's quite the boring individual.

Because of that, he became a guardian of his sister, policing her to keep her temper whenever she grew anxious. He himself didn't live too exciting as a life, as he was always to try and keep an eye on his sister. He avoided any relationships with other people, having been schooled to stay away from compassion.
