Hey there! =D First off, I was wondering if anyone else is taking their Math IGCSE tomorrow. I am, and I'm freaking out. gonk
Anyhow. One thing that I have never been able to work with if time. I don't understand, for example, how to transform 5 hours and 50 minutes into "decimal hours". Should I simply do 50/60 (=0.83, meaning the decimal time would be 5.83 hours?)?
I know it's a really silly doubt, and now I actually think my method is correct..still, I'm not sure and I'd rather not risk it. Sho...yursh. Thanks in advance!

yeah thats right... here's how it works. In decimal time we want to know how much it is out of 100, but because its in time we have 50 minutes outs of 60 total minutes (50/60). and that .83... which is 83/100. Its the same if you took a test worth 60 points, and you got 50 points on it, and you wanted to know what your grade was. Just do 50/60 is .83 so thats a B... again the same as 83/100
