Peaceful, is the RAIN that falls from the heaven LONELINESS is beautiful at times We should all just grow YOUNGmaybe we're all just DREAMERS inside. *update?*
Wow, It's been a really long time since I was here. In fact, it's been 2, 3 years? I looked back at this post, and I realized how much I improved. My anatomy in "Dreamers" was pretty sad; after a few years of casual sketching, I developed a more stable style. Before, the people I drew had necks that w were too long and full of other anatomical mistakes. I didn't know how light hit the surface of someone's face, so I stayed away from shading the face. I should have known that it was better to learn basic anatomy before becoming so stylized. One thing I like about my art back then was the colors and the mood/feeling. I decided to try to maintain that.
I know that this is often said, but, you do get a lot better over time. You will change over time as long as you keep drawing; It's slow but, one, two years in the future, look back at your old art and you'll see that it makes a difference. I am just like you.

question: why does she look so sad but still hava heart on her cheek?
comments: bow ties are amazing
critique: some type of simple background maybe?

jarredkh2 none of this is ment to be mean question: why does she look so sad but still hava heart on her cheek? comments: bow ties are amazing critique: some type of simple background maybe? Answer: My friend once told me that your drawings often represent what kind of person you are; to tell the truth; none of my drawings look truly happy. She's also not sad; she's just extremely dignified or lost in her thoughts; like I am. Yet I am not extremely dignified.(My other friend who is usually cheerful draws cheerful people; even her sad people sorta have a small smile on) Comments: Thank you. Critique: 10 minute doodle sry.

i have tryed i do have art but i am too shy to put it up on the internet and on top of that my self esteam is lower then most depressed people.

it's a little bit strange in that her torso is facing front, but her head and legs seem turned. try drawing from photos or from life.
another really great resource is posemaniacs.com
i like the design though, and just working out anatomy issues can really improve the quality of a picture <3
