Once would think that the cafeteria would be a drafty large room with many tables scattered about, but that is not the case. Instead it is a grand room with an few large tables strewn throughout the room, each one carved out of beautiful mahogany wood with intricate designs aligning it's legs and edges.
The food is only served as an entire meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, if people want food any other time of day they can go to the small cafe that breaks off of the cafeteria where various treats are served.

Books are Humanity in Print Grey cringed at the thought of Randy (she might as well call him this) eating his food completely raw. Her stomach churned at the thought of something as disgusting as that. Especially since she was vegetarian. Cruelty of animals was definitely one of her 'no no's. "Gross." She spoke quietly under her breathe as the cafeteria finally came into view. Since it was nearly lunch time, lots of students were starting to pile into the large dining hall. The smell of freshly cooked food filled the air, and her stomach screamed loudly begging for food. In a hurry to calm her desperate stomach, she skipped ahead of Randy, right into the cafeteria.
She didn't waste any time hurrying over to the line, and grabbing a tray. Luckily they had gotten there pretty early, the line wasn't insanely long. After the four or five people had gone ahead, the line finally moved and she was able to easily grabbed what she wanted to eat. When it was time for her to pay, she bent down next to her old brown boot and dug her finger deep down into the shoe. When she came back up she held money in her hand, and offered it to the woman.
Next thing on the list, was choosing a table. She glanced around at the many large tables, and frowned at how the closet ones were already full of people. Okay, so she would have to walk a little further to get peace and quiet, no problem. Heading to the far back right corner, she grabbed a table that had nobody else sitting at it. Staring down at her veggies and taking a deep breathe, she quickly looked over her shoulder to see if Randy had finished getting his food.

Bow Chika Bow Wow Randy took a spot in line two people behind Grey, he knew not to bother her too much right now, at least not until they sat down. He waited in line patiently and took what he wanted to eat. Since he was one of the richer kids in the school he received his meal on the school silver wear and had it covered to add to the high class of it. He didn't bother to take utensils since he knew that he did not need them for his meal.
He saw where Grey was and moved over to where she was. Some other girl he noticed was following him and it looked like she would sit next to him at the table. He took a deep breath and turned to face her looking her in her eyes as he let his go into a deep red color while he viciously growled at her. She went white in the face and quickly ran away not looking back. He knew now that he would not be bothered by anyone as he made his way to the back table.
He sat down across from Grey and look at her as she ate her veggies. He smiled at her as he lifted the lid off his meal to reveal his chosen raw meat dinner. On his plate was an assortment of sushi with wasabi, ginger and soy sauce in the middle of the plate. "I just love fish. One of my maids once made this stuff for me and I have been hooked ever since. You are welcome to try some of course. I hope you excuse my lack of a knife and fork this is more finger food than anything else. Plus I never learned to use those chop stick things." He took a tuna roll and added some wasabi too it. He loved his food spicy and he enjoyed his meal as he waited to see if the girl would talk to him

Books are Humanity in Print Grey watched as the girl ran off, face white as a sheet. She kind of felt bad for her in a way, but was glad Randy had kept her from sitting over here. Point for him, he respected her privacy. As he lifted the lid off the dish, her stomach tightened then quickly loosened. Oh, it was only sushi. Not that bad. She was expecting something along the lines of a slaughtered baby pig on a plate. Getting ahead of herself as usual.
Eying his plate with curiosity she watched him pop one into his mouth. So his maid made these things? How nice, his family must have a lot of money. At least he appeared very happy, but looking at him she couldn't help but think of what kind of people his parents might be. Did he even have any? Hmm, a personal question she wasn't willing to ask or bother with at the moment.
Back to the Sushi. " Suppose. " Trying one couldn't hurt, and it was just fish. Not as bad as beef or chicken or anything. Plus, she had never tried any kind of Japanese food before, but she had read about it. It seemed interesting. Reaching out slowly, she took one, and held it up high in front of her face. Slowly she rolled it back and forth between her fingers to make sure he hadn't randomly planted some kind of poison in the little fish roll. Turning her face away from him so he couldn't see her eat, she pushed it in her mouth and closed. Putting a hand over her mouth, she sat there and chewed awkwardly for a few moments. Squishy, very squishy, and kind of bland too. Fishy maybe, no, not really? To her it didn't really have a distinct taste, but it still tasted good. How weird.
Once it was swallowed, she nodded her head with a look of surprise on her face. It was actually very good, and she wasn't feeling weird at all. No poison, absolutely safe. " Good..."

Bow Chika Bow Wow "Yup, your next one try it with some soy sauce, it might be a bit salty if you are not used to it but it is very good none the less. Do not be so afraid I am not a complete monster. My parents raised me well as did my butlers and maids. Now I wonder how I can get you to speak more than one or two words at a time so we could attempt to have a conversation." Glad that Grey enjoyed the food he was eating he continued to enjoy his dish as he looked at her. Not everyone liked sushi or other foods like it so he was worried it would have grossed her out.
"Any chance you could tell me anything about yourself? Or maybe I will start? You know my name and I am surprised you didn't recognize it. Maybe you do not read many books about England. My family is quite old and important. The Blackwood name is one of the families with the most knighted individuals. I am not there yet but I guess with my behavior I have a lot to work on as well as live up to. There is not much to say for myself except that I was bitten at five and lived with this ever since. I have very good control of it physically, but the hormones as you saw earlier get the best of me. So now, what about you? Books can not be the only thing about you." He looked at Grey as he spoke to her and wondered if she would respond or realize that she had read his family name somewhere. He sighed inwardly wondering if he was trying to hard to communicate or if it was just all pointless.

Books are Humanity in Print Grey did as he suggested, and took another one and dipped it in soy sauce. She'd never had that either. For a moment she chewed very carefully, paying close attention to the taste. It was kind of salty, not really though. She nodded her head, giving him a sign that it was good and that she had enjoyed it. Honestly she wouldn't have minded if he continued to talk about food, but he just had to go and blurt random nonsense.
So, so, so , dreadfully persistent. Why was he so persistent? Slowly her patience began to wear thin, and she tried her best to hold back the anger and sadness that was piling up in the back of her mind. Filled with words of hatred and depression, words she always tried desperately not to say to anyone. Though her face remained mostly apathetic, rage was building up in her eyes. A single word hadn't been said to him yet, but it felt almost as if she had been screaming at him the entire time.
" Why...?" Her voice shook as she spoke, and she breathed in hard trying to keep herself from crying again. " Why are you so persistent?!" This time she pushed herself hard out of her seat, slamming her hands against the table. This time she was really screaming, a lot of people in the room turned and stared at the two of them. " Why do you insist on knowing anything about me?!" Her small, fragile voice was beginning to crack under the strain, and a sharp pain was building up in her chest. For a moment she was unable to breathe, and the lack of oxygen made her drop quickly to her knees in pain. Violent coughing started up, and when she removed her hand from her mouth specks of blood stained the pale white skin of her palm.
Her body was shaking violently at the sight of the blood, which was black against her hand..All her bad memories started to flood back into her mind, leaving her momentarily paralyzed on the spot.

Bow Chika Bow Wow He was just about to answer Grey until she began to spaz at him. He was going to let her go on until he saw her collapse and cough blood. He could smell it and then he saw the specs on her hand. he dropped his food and rushed over to her side, not sure what to do since she was not exactly feeling friendly towards him. He sighed and blew caution to the wind knowing the girl needed help. He went over to her and put his hand lightly on her back as he leaned in and looked at her. "Grey? What is wrong, why are you caughing blood, we need to get you somewhere safe. Do you have a dorm room I can take you to?"
Randy did not know what to do but since he was this close to her he decided to get honest with her and explain his persistence which is what got her angry. "I am head over heels for you okay? I cant help how I feel but I am being honest. I don't know what else to say but I like you a lot Grey and I want to get to know you more but also for you to give me a chance that is all I ask. You can see I don't intend to hurt you."

Books are Humanity in Print Even though she heard his voice very clearly, it sounded far away. Muffled, as if he was getting farther away from her. Her body was still shaking violently, and her eyes were blurred and warped by the tears from the pain. The black blood that had dripped onto her hand was starting to burn fiercely against her skin. Like liquid acid, it left burns on her hand so bad they were beginning to bleed.
Fear was slowly started to consume her, and she grabbed at Randy's arm desperately. She couldn't make out his facial features, and could hardly tell if anyone was really there at all. The only thing reassuring her someone was going to held her was the feel of his warm skin against her's. Things were fading out, and everything was slowly becoming very cold. Could she possibly be dying? No, she was still conscious, she was alive. Using what strength she had, she grabbed hold of his wrists hard, pulling herself close against his chest. They didn't know each other at all and she had no feelings for him what so ever, but the warmth was the only thing that kept her forcing air into her lungs.
Hand shaking, she pushed a small piece of paper into his hand, and squeezed tightly. Her throat hurt so much she couldn't speak, so he would just have to make use of the paper. Written in tiny cursive handing was the words, " Room one. " Now all she had to do was force herself to stay awake. She feared if she fell asleep, she really would die right there in his arms.

Sanoko walked to the cafeteria, her long red hair flowing behind her. She was getting pretty hungry since it was lunch time. She had only eaten breakfast, but it hadn't been much. Now she needed food. Upon entering the cafeteria she looked around before heading over to the line and grabbing a tray. As she walked by the food she wanted she placed it on her tray and moved on getting whatever else she wanted. She pulled her money when it was time to pay and then turned to look for a seat. Holding her tray in her hands she moved out of the way of others as she scouted for a place to sit.
Once she saw a table that didn't have too many people, she quickly walked over and sat down. she began eating her meal of sushi, rice, and chicken. She didn't look around, she only kept her eyes on her tray.
Has long red hair and sapphire eyes.

-----------Shh! Silence is a virtue.Shh walked into the cafeteria, silent as the shadow of a ghost. Not that he was big on eating, or being in places where people noisily slurp or munch, but he hadn't had any sort of nutrition in at least 3 days. He'd gone longer, but it seemed like a wise choice to take food when it was offered. Because it may not always be. Silently as ever, he moved through the serving line without hardly being noticed. Or noticing anyone. Being on the D-L was something he was good at. Stealth came kind of second nature. So much so, that he skipped the cash register and moved directly to the far wall. He checked his food, since he hadn't had time to do so as he was grabbing it. He's funny that way. Some sort of broth here, a couple slices of bread, and was that fish? He decided not to dwell on it too much. Looking up, he tried to fomd a good place to sit down. In the few situations like this, he had a pretty fool-proof way of not getting talked to. At leat not too much. 1)Don't sit next to people who talk. 2)Sit near enough someone so that others aren't likely to sit next to you and start a conversation. and 3)Be yourself. These in mind, he chose to sit away from the crowded tables of yapping students, and instead sat directly across from a red-haired girl whom seemed to be more interested in her tray than in conversation. He liked that. He wasn't tactful about it, either. He just sauntered over and sat down. All silently, of course, so that if she didn't look up, she probably wouldn't notice him. Were it not for the fact that in his rush to sit down he had allowed his ever-so-sneaky foot to bump hers under the table. He froze and hoped that this would be unnoticed, or at least less interesting than whatever she was eating. As if that ever worked. ((HA-ZAH! I posted.))

Sanoko had almost finished her food, but she still hadn't looked up from her tray. She had noticed that someone was about to sit across from her, though she still didn't look up. However when the person bumped her foot she looked up. She was sure it was an accident though. She smiled slightly saying that it was ok.
She thought she should say something to them, only a from of hello. She would only try to talk more if they wanted to. She was never good with talking. She seemed ignored most of the time and was a bit shy when it came to making friends.
"Hey." she said softly to the person who had sat across from her.

With an exaggerated moan she whipped out her cellphone and furiously started texting a friend of her complaining about how her time at school was already a major fail. Like seriously. As she continued her complaints the expression on her face became more and more exaggerated in anger. Still somehow that didn't stop the guys nearby from checking her out. She was aware of their presence, but this happened to her all the time. She was used to all kinds of harassment from men. She was downright hot, and damn did she know it.
She didn't blame them for staring though, especially because of what she was wearing. She had been training that morning and her hair was pulled up, and she was in a white sweatshirt with extremely short, shorts. She had to say they showed of her healthy tan, athletic legs. After a while one boy waltzed over to her and asked for her number. She didn't really want his number, nor did she need it. He wasn't very attractive anyway, but just to toy with him she forcefully gave him her number. " Bye honey." With a wink and a flick of her hair, she picked up her bags and walked into the cafeteria to get something to eat.
Looking around there wasn't many people in the room at the time, but one table caught her interest in particular. It was one of the back most tables, and it only had two people sitting at it. The thought of barging into whatever conversation they were having was becoming more and more tempting by the minute. In truth she wasn't really hungry, so instead she just strutted right on over to the table and plopped down beside the girl. In truth the girl was rather close, and she could tell just by looking at her that perhaps she was a little self conscious if anything. " Hey there girlie.." Switching to the guy sitting across from her," boy..." Hopefully they'd cure her boredom. ░░░░░░ ✿ ✿ ✿░░░░░░

Shh! Silence is a virtue.Unnoticed is much better when it's nonexistent, Shh noted to himself. He had, against all better judgement and planning, managed to initiate an interraction. Not that interraction was the bad part, but the blasted noise that usually follows. Shh caught what Sanako said out of the corner of his eye. Reading lips is an indespensible talent if you plan on not hearing anything. She seemed to be using a quieter tone, and he thought he could feel it. Were he not in a cafeteria, he might even risk taking out his ear-plugs to check the voice. There are, after all, a few tones and sounds that he doesn't mind. But the ambient noise would likely cause him to rip out someone's throat. All this considered, he still couldn't just ignore the girl, even if it does fall under the 'Be Yourself' rule. So Shh took a deep, yet impressively silent breath, and pulled out a piece of paper, carefully cutting himself on the edge, so he'd be able to write, being as he rarely carried around a pen or pencil. Hello, he wrote, My name is Shh. I can't hear you. He didn't bother to specify that it was his choice. If they thought him deaf, maybe they wouldn't talk? Pushing the paper, and forcing it to stop at her side of the table, he was about to congratulate himself on effective situation-management when yet another person sat at the table. This one perplexed Shh beyond reason. For one, she looked both beautiful, social, and confident enough in herself to easily be at home at any other table. That, and the fact that she chose to sit at this one combined to create an enigmatic situation. When she addressed him as 'Boy', Shh automatically corrected her, he wouldn't want this new girl to think his name might actually be Boy. Who name's their kid Boy anyway? "Shh." Spoke his deep and raspy voice, as he looked into her powerful eyes. To make sure his point made it across, and he wasn't just silecing her, he pointed to the paper he had just wrote, as it was sitting within range. He reached now for his piece of bread, but fumbled it. He managed to use his ability to halt it before it hit the floor, but Shh never drops things. Of course, he doesn't bump people either, so maybe he was having a really off day. Calmly, he grabbed the bread, took a small bite, and looked back at the two girls, wishing he could be more of a conversationalist.

When he shushed her she almost lost her cool composure, and almost didn't feel like following his hand gesture. Though something about him compelled her to do so, so she slowly turned her head to glance down at the paper. As she slowly read the words she noticed something strange. That wasn't red ink..Ew, so gross. Who on earth would do something like that? Obviously this creeper and his little buddy girlfriend.
So he couldn't hear her, was it? Well, she wouldn't give up trying to socialize with them. It as a lot of fun, even if she had to hold the burden of being associated with total freaks. Slipping her perfectly manicured hand into a black, expensive looking purse, she pulled out a pen. Holding it up above her face, as if she was examining it in the light, she made it perfectly obvious to flaunt the pen in his face. Then with a bold motion she clicked the pen hard, putting it to the paper. Then she wrote, " Haven't you ever heard of a pen?" ░░░░░░ ✿ ✿ ✿░░░░░░

Sanoko looked at the paper he had just wrote on with...his blood. She did find that weird and wondered why he didn't use a pen. So he couldn't hear? He could read lips though she was sure and hoped because she didn't have anything to write with. She glanced at the girl who had sat at the table with them for looking back at the paper and up at Shh. "My name is Sanoko." she said to both of them. She thought it was nice to talk to the girl too, the girl could be a potential friend while here as well as Shh. She hoped so any way.
If she didn't really get a long with these two well there were other students here to get to know. The girl was definitely pretty and didn't seem like she would actually be talking to someone like her since she knew she didn't show any confidence or any positive qualities just by looking at her. She did feel like she was positive in most situations, people would just need to get to know her to see them. There was also the fact she was in a new place not knowing anyone. That really made her seem shier than what she felt she was.
