You gotta be on disk three. You gotta go to the Cactuar Island, which I think is located around the Centran continent somewhere on the southeast coast. You can see this big green blob that moves every once in a while to identify the island. Just land there and prepare to fight a gigantic cactus. blaugh

Yeah, it's gonna do that everytime you get real close to killing it. You just gotta finish him off real fast or you gotta start all over again.

i noticed i fought 5 times and diablos does no affect i tried to use rinoa's special ability angel wings

Uh...don't use Diablos or Rinoa in the battle? You could try junctioning water spells to your Elem-Atk-J and casting Meltdown on the Jumbo Cactuar. Other than that...I really don't know what to do...You could try summoning Leviathan, get all their limit breaks up and don't attack when it says Jumbo Cactuar is hesitating (cause that's when it runs away). Not much help, huh? sweatdrop That's all I got.

my meltdown did 500 damage to him while he has 1111111111111111111111111 hp and riona does with her special abilty 3000 damge when she cast fire or blizzard and 9999damage when she casts ultima and she doesnt die as quiclky as irvine

Well, you get a giant cactus. Its got attack that goes with its level for example, if its level is 40, it does 4000 damage. He also has HP bonus, Str Bonus, Vit Bonus, Mag Bonus and Spr Bonus, but since you get him so late in the game, it's really not all that affective. You don't really need to get this GF...but it is fun knowing you got a Jumbo Cactuar as your friend. blaugh

the easiest way to kill jumbo cactuar is to use squall and zell, and repeatedly use their limit breaks, have the third person with leviathan and use them as a healer when needed. he should fall quickly after that.

thats wierd... Jumbo cactaur has never run away from me...and it's not like i always beat him uber-fast every time...
