i just found out the guy who was my boyfriend for probably 3 years or something has cancer.
i havent even thought of him in over 5 years... he moved away without saying goodbye...
cancer? thats impossible. he's healthy and happy and brilliant and hanging out with the guys just like before, he's watching pokemon in the mornings just like before, he.....
he cant go. i havent talked to him in forever, even spared a thought for him.
but he cant go,
not now,
not in the prime of his life...

I'm sorry, hun. I've had way too much experience with that,
and hope we dont come to have that in common.

My grandma had a form of it. My grandfather died from it.
Just typing his name makes me feel the burden in more intensity.
It's never going to be easy, you've just got to be there with him as long as you can, even if you've not talked for awhile. The pain hurts..but it's very different from not having cared at all. More meaningful..
I wish I had been with my grandpa more.

i dont even know how to get in touch with him, much less be with him. ll i can really do is hop my mom doesnt call me with bad news.
