Maintain good breath support all the time! Umm, my instructor used to tell me to practice the fluctuation in breath reaaally slowly and get faster when I was more comfortable with it.

I dunno how to explain it... I use my stomach and my mouth... Like shaking your tummy a little bit and blowing regularly. Or that's how I do it and people don't get mad at me for it.
Some people use their cheeks... Or like when you're nervous you kinda accidentally do it if you're shaky. I dunno.

darluna Help please! it's really difficult and the B.D yells at me because I can't do it! Don't use your jaw, throat, use your diaphragm. Try saying Who Who to try practicing your vibrato.

listen to some recordings of a famous opera singer and examine their vibrato, try to imitate that without your flute and when you get the hang of it you can incorporate it into your flute, vibrato should become a very natural part of your playing.

hmm....this is hard to explain....
Blow air like your playing, but just not with your flute yet. blow in little short breaths, cutting off suddenly, like saying 'ooo'. Do that repeatedly, gradually getting faster until its seems like one flow of air. after you've gotten some practice, try it on your flute.
I know its a little corn-fusing, but I hope that helped.

You kind of tighten your diaphagm (feels like in the area of upper abs) to create a non-steady, wavy airflow. It takes a lot of practice, and it's not something most people can do perfectly in one shot. Lotsa practice

I remember I made a thread about the same thing in the guild a while back. People were super helpful. You might try to find it.
I read that if you put your hand on your stomach and cough, that's the sort of thing you want to do with your tummy muscles for every pulse. It's helped me, but some people do it differently.
