They're not my fave characters, as I think that Tamahome's personality kinda fades and he becomes too much of a romantic sap, but I love the idea of their all-consuming love, you know? That nothing else matters as long as they have each other. It's too sweet! I really think they're a better couple than Twilight's Bella and Edward.

I actually think Fushigi Yugi is alot like Twilight in some respects, except Miaka isn't as emo as Bella and she doesn't have an absolute mental breakdown when Tamahome goes away.

I actually think Fushigi Yugi is alot like Twilight in some respects, except Miaka isn't as emo as Bella and she doesn't have an absolute mental breakdown when Tamahome goes away. Why, yes, I have read Twilight. It was okay, but not nearly as good as fushigi yuugi. And you're right. It is like New Moon when Tama runs away minus the werewolves and Volturi...Well, i think we need to get back on topic....XD

i like miaka....but sometimes i think she overdoes it with the squealing and the major emotional jumps...and the never ending pit of a stomach. she kinda reminds me of serena from sailormoon...even her voice. sigh....and your right, and i'm sad about it, but tama's personality becomes less lighthearted as it goes on, but his fam did get assasinated...and it's like he became a totally different person in the end when he becomes a human...er...out of the book. (refering to past posts)...i dunno how to work the quote thingy...
