I agree, they have been one of my fave bands since I was about 6 or something stupid like that!
hurrah to having found someone else who appreciates them (other than my mum!) biggrin
Its not just that they're ska either, cos they have such a range of music- Ghost Town could not be more different from Enjoy Yourself, for example

holy crap!!! i went to the movies tonight and saw meet the fookers blah blah blah, but any way i played ddr(That's right! i play it!!) and they had The Specials-little b***h as one of the songs!!! well... just thought you needed to know..

yeah, im looking to pick up a specials cd, all ive heard is their singles collection, i dont care if their other stuff sounds completely different, i just want to buy a cd. what would anyone suggest as their best cd?

No idea, I don't buy cd's! Anyway, the place I go for DDR is called swingtime, I went there last week and then walked down the highway with my bro to the pool hall for some billards.
