Zeta was stares down at his reflection in the lakes water. Slight ripples and distortions were making him seem so much more macabre then what he really is. "Hm.... handsome?" he questioned the words he had received from his false mother, Blind Mag. "I guess I am..." He grinned positioning his head downward so his visor fell off into the grass. He then took a second look, studying the eyes he saw staring back at him. "Maybe... I should wear that thing less often..." His eyes move back to the read slightly transparent visor on the ground. It wasn't even a minute before Zeta quickly shook his head and laughed, "No way! I'm keepin' this thing on all the time!" He knelt down and began to position the mask back over his eyes just as it was before. "There we go... much better." He looked around, everything glazed in a red coating. It looked so awesome to the young yearling.

The young blue yearling was lost in observation. His eyes focusing closer then ever at the redness of his visor. This just happened to give Lazuli the upper hand. It gifted her with the element of surprise. As soon as the echoing of her cheery voice chimed into the silence he had gotten used to he jumped a bit. "W-what the-" he began in a very up tight, shocked voice before turning to stare at Lazuli. "Oh... hey." He was embarrassed and tried to shrug off the fact that he just had a little panic attack. "Oh, right. You're Lazuli..." he grinned at his good memory and took in her question for a moment. "I guess I'm doin' alright. How about yourself?" He found it a bit confusing to decipher her sentences but it was fun to listen to.

A stumble backwards is was the cause of Zeta falling into a sitting position as he was unaware of Lazuli nuzzling his cheek. He blushed slightly and shrugged. "I'm not sure. I mean... well... I guess we could explore." He had no real reason to say no to this girl, so the answer had to be yes. "Uh, the pond? Oh um..." he took a moment to think back to why he had stared staring at his reflection. He thought it would sound bad to say he was just wanting to look at himself so he made up a story. "I was eating some berries and well... I couldn't tell if I had any juice on my face so I was just checkin'" He gave a soft smile and looked up at the sky, noticing how perfect it was out today. "So, did you have a place in mind?" he didn't really know his way around.

Zeta stared at Lazuli for a moment before letting his eyes switch over their focus onto which direction she randomly chose to begin their exploration. For a second Zeta debated whether or not he should follow, but in the end he realized that a good adventure was what he needed. "Awesome..." he muttered to himself as he started to pick up the white-ish yearlings trail. They walked for only a minute or two before coming to a darker place, where the trees were blocking out the light. "Uh... ya!" he grinned at the girls guts for wanting to venture into that area that looked so evil. It probably was no different then any other spot, besides the fact it was shadier but they could imagine, couldn't they?

Zeta tip toed behind the long haired Herla in front of him but he had no clue as to why he was tip toeing exactly. "Uh, me scared? No way!" but even though he claimed that he wasn't, his body showed other wise. He continued to stay slow and steady and his eyes were wide behind his visor for the fact it was hard to see in the dark. He wished he could see what was out there though. Then, of course, Lazuli brought up his visor. "What?! Take it off?" this time Zeta didn't bother to lower his voice. "Definitely not! It protects my eyes from.... everything! What if a caw bird comes swooping down and tries to scratch out my eyes! He wont, because I'll be prepared. Then I'll throw that bird to the ground and I'll- I'll- well you don't wanna hear what I'll do to it..." he huffed, out of breathe from his words being so frantically tossed out.
