I find it fun to do a little social experiment called "Walking Un-American" which is quite simple and the results are always fun. The requirements of the experiment are a Red Dress shirt; khaki/grey/black suit pants in solid colour, normal under attire, my red star belt and my boots (pes planus) though dress shoes are acceptable in black, a pair of sunglasses. (it's Arizona.) Dressed in such a manner I get many reactions from outright acceptance to un-uttered rage. I have never yet had someone ask me what statement I was trying to make or even if I was a Communist, which I have my card and don't normally wear my party button when I do this. I'd like to see the experiment go further or to hear of any other street theatre experiments that the membership is or has done and what affect it had.
