So I am almost done with this book.

Quinn is pretty cool, I like him. I still, however, prefer Eric.

Now, Bill was never one of my favorite characters, but each book I like him even less and I gotta say, this book so far has made me really hate him! I can't believe he never came clean with Sookie and tried to prevent her from learning the truth! She's gone through a lot for him. And then, for him to keep bringing that other woman into her work place! I just don't like him.

I can't wait to get to the end of the story and see how it all plays out with the Queen and King vampires. I don't have much left, so I hope it wraps up quickly.

I'm rereading this book at the moment as well. I'm just passed the point that Bill confessed the real reason of him moving to Bon Temps again.

The first time I read this book I was a big Bill supporter. I liked Eric, but not for Sookie. Bill just seemed to love her so much. And then we learned that it was all a lie....

While I do truly believe that he did (and still does) love Sookie, I can't get over the fact that he tried to hide it from her. It was during this reread that I realized that the entire reason that he went with her to New Orleans was probably to insure that she wouldn't learn about his secret. He was doing whatever it took to insure that she didn't find out and that just makes me sick.

I mean, as soon as he started to fell for her he should have told her that there was something more to it. Of course she would have been mad but at least that would have already been out in the open.

The fact that Eric made Bill tell her gave him points in my book. While we don't really know why he did it (to get Sookie away from Bill, to further his own personal agenda, or just to do something right by Sookie), he went out of his way to make sure that she finally learned the truth. I'm guessing that was the first time that he learned about it and knew instantly that Sookie needed to learn too.

Plus he doesn't look at her, knowing that she wouldn't want him too. And he doesn't try to comfort her because he knows her. He knows she needs time to herself but I am absolutely certain that he was watching her, following her at a distance.

I hate Quinn. Okay, no, I don't hate him, but I never really liked him. Their hook up was just way too sudden. They only met once (for just a few minutes) and the next thing you know they are going on a date and he's trying to get in her pants. It was more about lust than love from my point of view.

And I just don't like bald guys. *shrug*

But we get Amelia!! *loves Amelia*

Yeah, Bill dropped the ball on that one.

I love Amelia too! I just finished the book. WOW

I hope Amelia sticks around for a little bit. Sookie sure could use a female confidant.

I like Quinn. I think it is good for Sookie to have someone actually date her. I mean, Bill only ever took her to Eric's bar or showed up at her work. She couldn't go any where with Eric, since he was in hiding. I think having Quinn take her out on an actual date (even if it turned out badly) was a good thing. And hey, lust is good every now and then wink

I find the fairy blood thing kind of interesting. I wonder if she ever learns which relative she got it from. I wonder if her fairy godmother can tell her.

I also was really happy with the way Eric handled the making Bill tell her the truth scene as well. I'm really hoping that eventually, Sookie and Eric will get to try out some kind of closer relationship again, for both of their sakes.

I think Bill still loves Sookie and I think it was stupid on his part to keep something like that away from her. I think she wouldn't be as mad at him if he would of just told her before the relationship got any bigger....
