Description: Formerly named Sarras Miklagarther [sɚɻɛs ɱɪçɭɑːɢɑ̃ʁʈɝɹ], this planet was once home to a moderate population in dense urban and suburban centers. However, after a short-lived treaty, the planetary government declared open war on the Konigserker Republic. In the first months of the conflict, the KSR managed to secure the Sarrasen Stargate and established Oliver Base around it. Using the gate and surrounding environment for supplies, Oliver Base quickly developed and became the staging ground for a very effective campaign of attrition against the local population. For the first five years of the decade long war, the KSR made slow progress outwards from the gate, but then Oliver Base's first missile silos became operational and they launched a devastating series of multi-megaton thermonuclear attacks (using their buffering technology to prevent radioactive fallout). The nuclear strikes effectively killed the entire Sarrasen population and eliminated large-scale organized resistance. The Konigserker Republic Army continues to field hunter parties, but for the most part the KSR is only focused on claiming the planets resources now.
