*The door to the medic lab was opened by the foot of MK, who walked in proudly and placed Goosie down upon a bed in the far corner. He pulled a curtain hanging from the ceiling half-way around the bed, and stood there beside her a moment, wondering if she might soon awake. In the meantime, he then pulled up a chair and sat down, looking around the lab from his seat to look things over from beside the woman*

The girl opened her eyes slowly, turning her head a little to one side to catch a blurry glimpse of the doctor from before sitting close by. She pulled an arm up to shield her eyes from the light overhead and tried to make some sense of things. Her head was spinning and aching, and she felt certain almost immediately that this wasn't home. She vaguely remembered wanting to go home, and then all of the sand and the brightness happened.
"...W-was it too bright to go outside?" She asked hoarsely, lifting her arm a little and squinting at her doctor in an attempt to bring him and the rest of the surroundings into sharper focus. If it was too bright, they could wait till it was dark and then she could get a lift home. She idly wondered why he had a doctor's office at the beach, anyway. She didn't remember hearing seagulls...

*Standing back up, MK dusted off his coat and looked the girl over*
It was bright, very much so. You fainted, so I took you back somewhere for you to rest. We're in one of the med labs at the moment, and we're just waiting back on some of your test results. Can I get you anything while we wait?

"Can I have some..." She hesitated, staring at him blankly before finishing unconvincingly, "Some food?"
She was thirsty, as usual, but drinking that weird water before had made her feel...well, weird...and she still felt weird...and she didn't want to anymore. When she got home, she could have normal water without oranges in it.
"I don't even like oranges..." She found herself mumbling as she looked off in the other direction, the room spinning for a moment until she blinked it back into stability. Only it started up again, so she closed her eyes to avoid any further dizziness.

Hmm... I could probably get something for you. Would a donut be fine? I had seen upon entering that my nurse had left a box for me again. Or I could head to the cafeteria and get you something a bit... more?
*He thought deeply a moment, wondering what he might do should her body begin to reject the treatments*

"I dunno," She faltered, opening her eyes again, "Whatever you wanna do."
Maybe if he left, she could find some water on her own and get a drink. No oranges, she thought, almost smiling at the thought.

Hmm, well, I'll head down to the cafeteria then and see if I can't get something for you. Sit tight just a bit, I will return shortly.
*Giving her a little nod, he walked over and out the door, taking a look at the wrist device before sliding out of view*

She laid still for a few minutes, hoping the room would settle down a bit so she could get up without as much confusion. It didn't seem to be happening though, so she finally sucked it up and eased herself into a sitting position.
"Ugh," She found herself commenting, her head pounding. Why was it happening again? Was it really the oranges? She didn't remember anything new, did she? Just those seagulls. Wait, no, there weren't any seagulls.
She slid her legs off of the bed and let them drop down to the floor, supporting herself with her arms as she tested her balance. She felt uneasy, not sure if she wanted to move any further, and found herself getting lost in thought as she stared at the curtain's plain but neat pattern.

*The 'doctor' re-entered a few minutes later, carrying in his hands a small tray with assorted goods; a bun, a banana, a muffin, a cup of coffee, a glass of milk, and other little breakfast bits*
I'm back, and I've brought you some- Hey there, you probably shouldn't be standing just yet, please be careful...
*Standing over next to her, he set the tray down on a wheeled bedside table*

She stayed standing, mostly because she didn't feel confident that she could pull herself back up into bed. The food looked pretty good. The girl hadn't realized how hungry she was until then, but she could hardly keep herself from grabbing the bun and taking a bite out of it.
"Thahnkyhou" She said through a mouthfull.

*Nodding and flashing his smile, MK stood there observing her, silently in his mind thanking the cook for the last minute dosing of the tray contents*
I've been thinking... You've been through quite a lot recently. How would you like to get out later and do something fun?

She paused mid-attempt to take another bite, feeling woozy and still being a little slow on the uptake.
"But I wanna go home," She said after a brief pause to formulate the thought. She'd forgotten again where she wanted to go.
She took another couple bites with that said, hungrily reaching for the milk to wash it all down.

We've tried calling over, but nobody has picked up. With you as you are, we do not feel that it is safe to take you there without knowing that someone is there to care for you. For the time being, you are still with us under observation. Most curious about you, we are. How is your memory doing today?

She took a large gulp of the milk before putting it back, then looked down at the bun as her vision blurred momentarily.
"...No...no one's there...huh..." She remarked, dropping the bun as her grip went slack.
"Oh," she said faintly, looking up at him as he became double, then triple, "...I...I don't feel...good..."
