Area 21-2 -> Main Level ->Main Library
Main Library
Just beyond the entrance to the facility, down the first hallway on the right, and in the first door on the right, is the GCS Main Library.
Rows upon rows of book shelves filled with books and previous research line the length and width of the room. In the middle of the room is a large desk, to which the librarian surely spends the most of her time. Off to the left, there is a station of 10 computers, resting back to back, and assorted seating and small tables throughout.
There is a small locked room in the back that is for the librarian and staff, and is where the more classified documents are thought to be kept.
Security Advisory System Main Library

Whisper entered the library and looked around. The place obviously hadn't been visited in quite awhile, but all the better. She didn't need a crowd to see all of her research. She wasn't even certain what she was looking FOR, but she hoped to stumble across something that might help fill in the missing pieces of her past. She needed to know who she was, what she could do, where she came from. Walking to one of the computer terminals, she began to search for any clue she could find. She started with simple searches for things relating to her power. The hours rolled by while she worked.

Whisper sighed deeply in the silent library. All these hours and nothing of importance, just random works on white magic, spellcasting in general, and books on hundreds upon hundreds of known races capable of using magics. Perhaps all of these writings were too new, or perhaps her people had not mingled with Gaians before. If that were true, there would be nothing here at ALL to lead her in the right direction. She had to narrow the search somehow. She thought of everything she knew about herself, and realized she hadn't yet searched by physical appearance. It was a simple oversight, really, and she didn't expect much, but it was worth a try.
"Hmm...let's see now..." she said to herself as she typed. "Pale white skin...dark hair...purple eyes...white magic user. Let's see what this turns up." She hit enter and waited while the computer searched for any matching documents that would be found in the library.

As Whisper sat at the terminal, she realized how small her chances of finding anything truly were. This was only a small collection of knowledge, after all. Still, she figured G Corp was a better shot at it than a civilian library, since there was research done here not available anywhere else. The search having finished, she turned her attention back to the screen. Her eyes widened a bit in surprise, and she sat forward in the chair, intent on the information before her.
Search Results: 1 partial match found, 0 exact matches found Article name: Ancient Artifacts Found on Gaia; Author unknown Article source: unknown news publication, no longer in circulation Document length: 1680 pages
matching results contained: "...record of a race of white-skinned healers had been found at an archaeological dig site in Gaia's wilderness. It was unable to be determined who they had been, or what the origin of the record was. The partially preserved record was found along with several artifacts, as well as the skeletal remains of an individual. The remains as well as the artifacts were promptly removed from the site for preservation. Several employees of G Corp were present at the dig, as well as other prominent scientists from across Gaia. The location of the finds is not being disclosed at this time, so that the progress of studies involving them will not be hindered. This marks one of Gaia's most unusual sites to be discovered to date. More details will be released as more becomes known."
Whisper sat in silence for a few moments, trying to digest what she was reading. It was nothing definite to be sure, in fact it was likely unrelated. Still, it was a lead, however shaky. She printed the page and took it with her, knowing that her next destination could only be level 7. If G Corp had ever had to do with this matter, it would be in archaeology. She shut down the terminal and left the library, hoping to see to to this as soon as she could.

The two teenagers were ported into the library, and Bristan began to tell Oukami the general situation on her.
"... But you left Asphyxia in there!" "She'll be fine" "You're going to leave a girl on her own like that?! Chivalrous, Brist" Oukami rolled his eyes. "Take us back" "Fine. But she freezes my bits off..." Bristan grabbed hold of his friend and ported back into the bunkers.

Having decided to give Phyx some space in the hope that she wouldn't leave immediately, the rather grumpy Goosie had settled on a visit to the library to make her time spent here somewhat more productive. She'd been planning to take Kami but, judging by no sign of Lella or him, he was probably already gone...another friend she'd barely get to see from now on. With a slight sigh the girl put down her plate of snacks, idly grabbing a cupcake to nibble on as she took a seat at once of the nearest tables. Despite being quite put off by Bristan's attitude, she found herself not ready to leave again lest it only make things worse. The library felt like the kind of place he'd never voluntarily wander into and so she had considered it a safe environment to avoid him in for a while. Part of her felt like doing it just to be spiteful, but...she didn't want to leave on such bad terms. With what she'd done, who knew how long she would remain welcome at the facility, if it ever got out. Goosie sat there with her plate and tried to eat, feeling rather at a loss for yet another ugly, confusing turn that things had taken.

Waking up from an unexpected nap, Goosie took a groggy look around before rubbing her eyes and standing. Grabbing a cookie off of her plate, she idly began nibbling on it as she started to walk through the rows of books, realizing that despite whatever false memories she may have, it had at the very least been a long time since she'd visited the library.

After aimlessly wandering for a bit without finding anything to catch her eye, Goosie sighed a bit and decided she'd better go look for Phyx and try to repair the damage Bristan had done. She picked up her plate of dwindling goodies on her way out of the library.

Goosie walked into the library after having changed, being a little uncertain of what to do, she'd decided to come back here and have another look around. She didn't want to lay down with Bristan lest she fall asleep and be left unguarded. She disappeared down one of the aisles, checking out any book that caught her interest.

Goosie stirred, groaning sleepily and wondering for a moment when she'd passed out. The girl sat up, having to peel half a page of the book she'd been reading off of her face before looking around groggily. So far plan "don't sleep in the facility" was turning into a total bust. Rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes, the sleepy blonde looked down at the book she'd been using as a pillow and fuzzily made out what she'd been reading. It was mostly just scientific jargon...which probably explained why she'd fallen asleep as early in as the second page. Yawning, she closed the book and then leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms out before the entire thing tipped over and she tumbled to the ground with a shriek, chair clattering loudly in the otherwise silent library.

Pushing herself up into a sitting position, she rubbed her head and groaned before smoothing her hair out and taking a quick glance around to see if anyone had noticed the embarrassing folly. Confident that she was safe from humiliation this time around, Goosie stood and restored the chair to it's proper upright position before looking over the pile of books she'd picked out prior to falling asleep. Few of them were very interesting to her, though a smaller one caught her eye. She picked it up, remembering she'd found this in the scarcely populated fiction section. It had mostly intrigued her because the publishers' logo was a cartoon duck. Still, it was probably time to go get a proper night's rest...in a bed. Goosie took one final look around before opening a portal and stepping through with book in tow.
