Alrighty! ~ Seeing as The Admins & Mods here in the M.T.G.P.S. are rather busy as of late, It's been decided that the members need something aside from the games we offer to keep everyone chatting & happy. smile

~ How It Works ~

Alright, I'm sure most of you have seen the card of the day thread ~ well, this is a hybrid version of that thread for members biggrin ~ It's a card discussion thread with multiple card-o-day posts from various participating members. ~

The idea is to imitate the official threads posting format. You get one post a day, & I cannot stress that enough, 24 hours, not 12, 24. ~ Anyway, here's how the posting format looks;

Oracle Text:
[+1]: Untap up to two target artifacts.
[-X]: Search your library for an artifact card with converted mana cost X or less and put it into play. Then shuffle your library.
[-5]: Artifacts you control become 5/5 artifact creatures until end of turn.

Format Legality:
Legal in Vintage, Legacy, Extended, Standard

Official Rulings:
* 10/1/2008 The first ability can target zero, one, or two artifacts. You may play it with no targets just to put a loyalty counter on Tezzeret.

* 10/1/2008 For the second ability, you choose the value of X when you play it. You don't look through your library until the ability resolves. (In other words, you can't look through your library, decide what artifact card you want, and then determine what X is.) You can't choose an X that's greater than the number of loyalty counters on Tezzeret.

* 10/1/2008 The third ability affects all artifacts you control, including artifacts that are already creatures. If this ability affects an artifact creature, it overwrites most other effects that change or set its power and toughness. But certain other effects can still apply to it afterward. They are: -- Effects that happen after this ability resolves that change the artifact creature's power or toughness (like Giant Growth) or set its power and toughness to certain values (like Lignify). -- Counters that change the artifact creature's power and toughness, such as +1/+1 or -1/-1 counters, regardless of when they were put on that creature. -- Static abilities that change the artifact creature's power and toughness (such as those from Glorious Anthem), regardless of when they first took effect. -- Effects that switch the artifact creature's power and toughness, regardless of when they first took effect.

* 10/1/2008 The third ability causes artifacts you control to become creatures in addition to their other card types.

Ok, That is your template. Here's the key for the numbers with * next to them;

Key:

1* Card Name.
2* Wizards Gatherer URL: To link the card image to this, you need to use Wizards Gatherer found here; http://ww2.wizards.com/gatherer/ - Type the name of your card in & press enter; A list with names will show up, click on your card, & a window will pop up with an address bar in it; that URL is the one you want for #2.
3* Number 3 is the image URL, found at Magiccards.info http://magiccards.info/ type in your card name, hover over the image, right click & select "Copy Image Location" ~ & You'll have your image URL ready to paste into slot 3.
4* Oracle text; You get this information from CardKingdom.com http://www.cardkingdom.com/ - Search your card, & click on it, a window will pop up & show you a picture of your card, & under that there will be the oracle text. - It is always wise to cross reference this text with the gatherer text.
5* Format Legality; You will find this information on the Magiccards.info page for your card http://magiccards.info/ - Copy paste the legality of the card into slot #5 & use underline tags on each of the formats names.
6* Official Rulings; This comes from your pop-up Wizards Gatherer window; Any rulings on the card will be found below the card summary of that page.

You get one post a day; One every 24 hours, not 12 hours, 24.

1.) All M.T.G.P.S. Rules Apply.
3.) Keep Swearing To An Absolute Minimum. This includes Vulgarity.
4.) Un-Cards are of course permitted smile
5.) Play Nice & Have Fun biggrin

Oracle Text:
Trample
Whenever a player plays a spell, put a chip counter on its converted mana cost.
B-I-N-G-O gets +9/+9 for each set of three numbers in a row with chip counters on them.

Format Legality:
Banned in Vintage, Legacy, Extended, Standard


Official Rulings:
* If you have all squares filled, it gets eight +9/+9 bonuses to become 73/73. [Unhinged FAQ 2004/11/15]
* If a counter is moved onto this card using Giant Fan, the counter becomes a chip counter but doesn't go on any number. [D'Angelo 2006/09/09]
* All tournament formats have banned cards from Unhinged.
