A vague thoughts forum. I'm young, I usually just drift off into thoughts such as "If monkey were given the choice, I wonder if they would eat meat?" ((Apparently, they would)) Or.. "The sky changes colour due to light reflections of the spectrum hitting our eyes at different angles and all that..then what happens when you are looking at a red coke can? does red look the same for everybody...?"
You know, vague questions that you don't know, maybe other members can answer the vague thoughts of others?
It may also help and serve as a q+a for the guild, but thats an unthought out side note.
anyway... kthnxbai

In answer to your second question...red appears slightly different for people, but it's generally the same color.

Golden Dysprosium In answer to your second question...red appears slightly different for people, but it's generally the same color. Yeah, red is just a certain electromagnetic wave frequency that translates into visible light. It's got the lowest frequency of all visible light, though. If you look at a spectrum and ask someone to point to the violet section, they'll point to the violet one - it'll be the same one you think is violet, unless your brain somehow extremely screws up the spectrum (violet is the highest frequency, by the way, it goes infrared < red < yellow < blue < violet < ultraviolet).

Well no, not...quite what I meant..I mean..
Say red looks like the colour green to person one. But of course, they would learn said colour green as red as they grew up..
The teacher would point to the green one and say red, and coke cans would look like their definition of red, kinda. Kind of hard to explain. xD thoughts on the forum?

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean by that. I used to wonder the same thing... until I kind of accepted it with the "cones and rods" answer (though inconclusive!) When/if I have enough money, I'll make a new forum. (And frankly, that was supposed to be the main focus of the guild... until I got a bit carried away.)
